Jill Biden is gaslighting senior citizen audiences about her husband's ability to do his job.

Something that Paul Ryan said in a recent interview stuck with me. Ryan, former speaker of the house and Mitt Romney's running mate in 2012, said that the Joe Biden of today is not the same Joe Biden of 2012. He recalled his debate with Biden as a vice presidential candidate. Biden has significantly aged since then.

Mrs. Biden may look at her husband through different eyes. She is his wife. She may think that his age is not an issue but it is. She may think he is better able to do the president's job than his opposition, former President Donald Trump, but he is not. She may see the Joe Biden of 2012 but that man is gone.

The other world leaders at the G7 in Italy last week reportedly expressed concern that President Biden is 'losing focus' and appearing 'tired.' 

There were more embarrassing incidents than we've been told. For example, he didn't participate in all the events scheduled for the group. 

President Joe Biden had a hug and kiss for Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni when he saw her at the G7 meeting. Still, he skipped a dinner hosted by the country's President Sergio Matterella. 

Biden has attended group planning sessions at the gathering of the world's biggest economies but had few one-on-one meetings with his fellow heads of state. The favored few who got individual time with him include Meloni, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and Pope Francis. 

I thought Biden said how much the other world leaders respect the United States now that he is the president. Why is he ignoring them except for Meloni? I wonder what she thought after Biden randomly kissed her on the top of her head, as though she was a child. Weirdo.

He did have some good moments when he joined the other leaders in wishing a happy birthday to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Friday before he high-tailed it out of there to get back for a celebrity-studded fundraiser in California. He signed a weapons deal with Ukraine, which he was proud to do, and he met with the Pope, though there was an awkward head butt with him. 

Another cringey moment happened when Biden insisted on leading the others in singing Happy Birthday to Scholz. He started singing though the others reminded him that they had already done that. 

Everyone has seen when Biden wandered off from the group in the field and Prime Minister Meloni graciously guided him back to the group. 

The White House is hyper-sensitive these days with so much covering for Dementia Joe going on. They released a wider view of the video of Biden wandering over to the parachutists. They claim he just wanted to congratulate them. White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates blamed an "artificially narrow frame to hide from viewers that he just saw a skydiving demonstration. He's saying congratulations to one of the divers and giving a thumbs up." 

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak tried to come to Biden's rescue by saying Biden was just being polite. However, that was not how the event was planned and Biden went rogue.

'He went to go and shake all their hands,' the prime minister told British reporters. 'Because they had all landed. And he was being very polite. And he just went over to kind of talk to all of them individually and Giorgia [Meloni] was saying 'Don't worry, they're all coming to [us]'.'

Sunak added: 'We were meant to stand in one place rather than go and say hello individually, because everyone wanted to try and talk to their person who jumped with their flag.'

The press reported that Biden was too tired to attend a big dinner on Thursday night at a castle in Brindisi. He has done this before at big summits - he skips big dinners, as he did last year in Bali at the G20. 

Team Biden insisted that Biden wasn't tired from the busy schedule, he was meeting with Zelensky while the dinner was taking place. 

 The White House set Biden's schedule. They said Biden just didn't have time to meet with everyone there. He didn't meet one-on-one with all of the six other G7 leaders but he did have time to meet with the Pope. His granddaughters (Hunter's daughters) who traveled with him also met the Pope. 

Biden was among the Democrats who criticized former President Trump for not being as attentive to the others as they wanted him to be. Not a peep about Biden's performance in Italy, though. 

The Biden campaign wants voters to believe that Biden has the stamina to do the job. Maybe he skipped meetings and concentrated on Meloni because he's been told the other world leaders face tough elections. She does not. Color me skeptical. He also had to skip meetings or activities at previous summits because he needed to rest. 

Team Biden claims that Biden's age is his strength and his wisdom is needed. Even the G7 is at odds with that. Biden is seen as weak on the world stage. That puts the United States in a dangerous position.
