A producer for Fox News asked a White House spokesperson why President Biden apologized for using the term illegal during his State of the Union address as they traveled to New Hampshire this morning. Aboard Air Force One, White House Deputy Press Secretary Olivia Dalton immediately pushed back on the question.

She said that President Biden 'regrets' using the term. He did not apologize for using it.

I want to be really clear about something the President absolutely did not apologize. There was no apology anywhere in that conversation. He did not apologize. He used a different word. I think what we should be really clear about is the facts... I think is it unconscionable that there are some people who are playing politics with this young woman's tragic murder.

Weird. Biden said he "regrets" using the word but the White House is very careful to say it is not an apology. 

He's not going to talk about illegal aliens with any disrespect, he said. Then he said they "built this country." This is news to me. Legal immigrants built our country. I would have no problem agreeing with that statement. Biden, as other open border advocates do, conflates illegal immigrants with legal immigrants. 

Illegal alien is the proper term for those not in the country legally. It is the term used by our Founding Fathers. It is in the Constitution. Facts are stubborn things. 

The message is clear. Come hell or high water, Joe Biden will not apologize for anything. He may regret saying illegal instead of the term the left uses for illegal aliens - undocumented immigrants - but normal people think that a person saying he regrets something means he apologizes for it. But, Biden isn't a normal person. He isn't the person he claimed to be when he said he would return America to normal if he won in 2020. President Norms has not fulfilled that campaign promise. 

Biden is pulled left by the far-left progressives in his party. He kowtows to them because of their power in the Democrat Party. The Republican Party may no longer be your father's party but the Democrat Party is no longer the party of JFK or Bill Clinton. It isn't even the party of Barack Obama when it comes to illegal immigration. Obama was known as the deporter-in-chief during his time in the White House. He was the first one to use what were described as cages for illegals detained on the southern border.

It is important to remember that Joe Biden has historically been wrong about everything throughout his 50 years in elected office. Our country is in a mess now due to the leadership at the top. Biden is so afraid of losing votes in November that he does whatever he is told to do to salvage support from demographics who do not support his re-election. Biden has lost substantial Hispanic support, for example. That is why his handlers listened to the angry left when Biden used the term illegal. They lost their minds so his solution is to say he regrets it. 

Conservatives made a big deal out of Biden apologizing or regretting his language but he hasn't apologized to the mother of Laken Riley for botching her name as he dragged it into the State of the Union when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene yelled at him to "Say her name." It was the first time since Laken Riley was brutally murdered while out for a jog on a popular trail on the campus of the University of Georgia in broad daylight by an illegal alien from Venezuela that Biden said her name. He has not bothered to call her parents. He called her Lincoln, not Laken Riley. Disgraceful.

The truth is that if Biden talks about crimes committed by illegal aliens, it means he has to admit his way of handling the southern border has failed. The humanitarian and national security crises brought on by Biden's open border are now at catastrophic levels. It is all deliberate. Laken's killer entered the United States illegally in 2022. He was allowed to remain in the country by Biden's immigration policies. Joe Biden has blood on his hands.

Former President Trump called Laken's parents after she was killed. He met with them in Georgia on Saturday before a campaign event. Joe Biden also did a campaign event in Georgia on Saturday. He did not reach out to Laken's parents. Joe Biden does not care. And, he does not apologize.
