Back in the old days when gays were fighting for basic respect they hit upon a brilliant strategy: quit being so outrageous, hyper-sexual, and confrontational to the normies.

Guess what? That strategy worked wonders. When gays presented themselves as just like everybody else only differing in sexual preferences, everybody else shrugged and said “I guess that’s OK” and got over being freaked out by gays. It turned out that most–not all, but most–of the hostility to gays was based upon the constant attacks on mainstream culture.

The Onion had a joke about the situation that hit the nail on the head.

As much as it is true that gays before the era of sexual liberation could be subject to nasty treatment and even legal oppression, it is also true that throughout most of history people tended to look the other way and pretend that gay men were just bachelors who liked to live together and that lesbians were just good friends. What mattered to most people was maintaining the social norms, not regulating the private behavior of individuals.

Homosexuality became a hot topic with the sexual liberation movement, which ironically kicked up awareness of the issue and put it in a pretty bad light. Sexual liberation itself was a bad idea–it turns out that those social norms serve an important purpose for civil society–and the sexual liberation of gays tended to make them look like enemies of the mainstream. The old gay rights movement looked very much like an attack on heterosexual norms, because it was.

The gay rights movement made its breakthrough into the mainstream when…you guessed it…gays became just like the mainstream. When the gay guy sitting next to you wants to be monogamous, financially successful, and basically a pretty normal guy, it isn’t threatening. As long as he keeps his hands to himself it is no big deal. Most of us don’t think about others’ sexual practices or want others to think of ours.

So why is Biden so bound and determined to undo all the progress that gay rights activists have made? Why, in fact, has the entire cultural Elite decided to undermine centuries of social norms and remake what is acceptable in society? Gays made progress when the majority of them turned their back on the excesses of hyper-sexual culture; now every SJW wants Americans to embrace the most bizarre sexual deviations in human behavior?

That is the question posed not just by the fringe social media posts of the mentally ill on TikTok, but the full-on embrace of deviants by the President of the United States.

It is striking that President Biden chose to bring drag queens into the Respect for Marriage Act signing ceremony. Highlighting the normality of gays would be the natural political strategy. Not a single person in the world feels threatened by the Pete Buttigiegs of the world, and Kristin Sinema has become a political hero to the center-right. Highlighting mainstream gay/lesbian/bisexual figures would, one would think, put an exclamation mark on the  political point, and advance the normalizing of gays.

But that isn’t the path the LGBTQI+++/562=weird crowd. They have gone back to the original, failed strategy, hoping that this time everybody will embrace the Sam Brintons of the world.

Biden brought not one but two drag queens to the ceremony, and they are everything you would expect from the type. They reject American culture, are actively engaged in recruiting children into their cult, and are explicitly sexual in their content.

Marti Cummings, one of the two, openly talks about sexualizing children and displays his “wares” regularly, singing about his love of “dicks” and which types he prefers. He talks about what sleeping with a different man a week might be like, and I think we can assume he knows the answer. I am pretty sure that this is not what most people associate with respecting marriage, because it isn’t.

In short, he is playing out his sexual fantasies in public, not just some normal guy with a slightly different lifestyle. This is not what America signed up for when they embraced gay marriage. Worse, he makes it clear that it is his goal to recruit children into his bizarre cult, and brags about it.

It is very in-your-face, and also what POTUS is embracing.

The other performer is “Brita Filter,” who is clearly making fun of everything normal, and also a drag queen story hour performer.

He showed up to the White House all dolled up, which is offensive in the extreme. Drag itself is a parody of women, a minstrel show of sorts that makes fun of traditionally female behavior and roles.

Drag is adult entertainment. Not my cup of tea, but neither is Avatar or the latest Star Wars movies. But drag for children? That is child abuse and grooming behavior. And they are trying to mainstream it. And by they, I mean the entire cultural Elite. When GMA is promoting something it is mainstream. And it has only gotten worse since this was filmed.

Which brings us all the way back to “why?” Why are they going to such extremes?

The only answer that I can see is that the Elite wants to normalize pedophilia and especially destroy all sexual norms. Putting a child in drag–and there are now drag performers as young as 8 that I have found, and probably younger–is a direct attack on every social institution and especially the family.

Biden’s “Respect for Marriage” is in fact the opposite. By wrapping deviants in the cloak of respectability Biden and his crowd are doing exactly the opposite. Drag queens and marriage aren’t related in any way that I can see, and neither is transgenderism and transgender ideology. The Elite is appropriating respect for marriage to encourage exactly the opposite.

Biden’s agenda has been pretty clear for a while. His embrace of Dylan Mulvaney and using the bully pulpit to shove the most offensive ideology imaginable is clearly a self-conscious attempt to expand the Overton window so far that all standards collapse.

Life under Biden is beginning to resemble, in less violent form, the social hierarchy of the Hunger Games. A pampered and perverse Elite ruling over plebs whose freedom is so circumscribed that their lives exist only to toil for and entertain the social cream. Transgender folks today are literally emulating the fashions from the Capitol in the movie.

The backlash, at least in working class America, is building and expect it to be harsh. I half suspect that this is the point. The Elite is jonesing for a reason to crack down harder on the normies, openly pushing the idea that a violent Republican Party is rampaging across the land. I think that is exactly what they want so they can justify a crackdown.

I hope that doesn’t happen, but fear that it might. A decent set of leaders would be interested in facilitating coexistence, but the rhetoric and behavior  of the Left is so provocative that there could be a breaking point. A lot of gays understand this and are frustrated with the radicals. They have worked for decades to normalize being gay, and a new crowd is undermining decades of work.

There is nothing benign or compassionate about this agenda. It is designed to create social strife with the working class and make the middle class more accepting of perversity. The schools are pushing the most radical ideas, academia is, and now the White House itself.
