The New FBI Director Was Just Sworn In

This is the cherry on top of Trump's power cabinet.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said she wanted to 'hurry up and get him sworn in' because she was 'the happiest person today.'

Oh, I'll bet.

And then, after kissing his beautiful family and girlfriend, our new FBI director began with such lovely words.

'First and foremost, I just want to thank President Trump. We were just with him. I know he's not in the room right now, but what a ride we have been on. What a courageous warrior and leader he has been. And the faith and trust he has put in me to lead the FBI is the greatest honor I will ever have in my life.

And to General Bondi - that sounds pretty frickin' cool. Ah, Pam - you're my sister, you're my mentor, you're my friend. Um. You're my boss, and, um, the confidence you have placed in me. I will never violate your trust. The men and women of the FBI will be led under your leadership, um, to one standard - the Constitution. So thank you for trusting in me...

He's so HUMAN and is overwhelmed at that point with emotion -

'Oh, man!' Patel says. 'This is effin' crazy!' And he looks back at his family.

OH, EAT HIM UP

There will be accountability, but he will fiercely defend his people. Woof.

And then he lays the hammer down.

..."Anyone that wishes to do harm to our way of life and our citizens, here or abroad, will face the full wrath of the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. And if you seek to hide in any corner of this country or any corner of this planet, we will put on the world's largest manhunt, and we will find you and we will decide your end state, not you."

Also, on his first day, Patel already had agents moving out of Washington, as he said he would do if he had run the zoo not so long ago.

The FBI has opened a 250K sq ft facility called the 'Innovation Center' at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. I'm guessing that's where the Huntsville-bound cadre is headed.

The FBI Huntsville’s current “marquee” project is the 250,000-square-foot Innovation Center dedicated to training, cyber threat intelligence, digital forensics and analytical tool development and employees are expected to move in early next year.

“We understand 21st century threats are rapidly changing and evolving, which requires us to not only be well-trained but better prepared to defeat them,” Johnnie Sharp, the FBI’s assistant director at Redstone, said Dec. 11 at the annual Redstone Update. “The Innovation Center will be the epicenter of the FBI’s technology, infrastructure and tool development, centralizing our tech talent and tools in a connected campus environment.

“Once this building comes online, our goal is to not only utilize the space for training purposes but also for an increased focus on collaboration within the FBI” and with its partners in the intelligence community, law enforcement, industry and academia. “Our employees will soon move in (the Innovation Center) hopefully around the February time frame.”

The usual suspects are already whining, 'That makes no sense!'

He is such a breath of fresh air.

Man.

"I know the media's in here. And if you have a target, that target's right here. It's not the men and women at the FBI."

"You've written everything you possibly can about me that's fake, malicious, slanderous, and defamatory."

"Keep it coming. Bring it on."

What a time to be an American.

Have a great weekend.
