I can't believe what I'm reading.

First, I wanna know - isn't this like kidnapping or something? Human trafficking for exploitative purposes?

Did Murphy - or worse, someone like his butler - go snatch Juanita Valdez off a street in Hoboken?

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy revealed during an interview Saturday with "Blue Wave New Jersey," a progressive grassroots organization, that he is housing an immigrant with questionable legal status at his home and basically dared the Trump administration to "come in to try to get her."

"[Murphy's wife] Tammy and I were talking about –- I don’t want to get into too much detail, but there is someone in our broader universe whose immigration status is not yet at the point that they are trying to get it to. And we said, you know what? Let's have her live at our house above our garage," the NJ governor said.

"And good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her," Murphy added.

Yeah - put her in the garage with the dog crates, spiders, and those boxes of papers we got from the Bidens. Have her help Ximena the maid do the bathrooms while we're out.

I mean, Murphy does have kind of a track record as an exploitative, could-give-a-sh** employer.

...[NJ Assemblyman Erik] Peterson said that if ICE doesn’t act, authorities should at least check on the woman’s safety.

“Murphy let women on his own soccer team suffer in terrible conditions. Now he wants us to believe he’s suddenly acting out of kindness?” Peterson said. “It’s about power, political theater, and maybe cheap labor to clean his mansion.”

In 2018, players from Sky Blue FC, the women’s soccer team owned by Murphy and his wife, reported awful living conditions, with plastic bag for windows, no showers and ice baths in trashcans. A 2022 investigation exposed widespread harassment and abuse, ignored by officials for years.

I wouldn't say it's out of the realm of possibility.

What a crackpot, showboating move from one of the Democratic party's biggest weasels.

It takes a lot of effort to 'one-up' any governor on that crew from the East Coast, I'm telling you.

They're all certifiable progressive whackjobs.

And the 'nyah, nyah, nyah' at the feds, you yellow-fanged, rodential larper?

1. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is keeping an illegal at his home and daring ICE to do something about it. Make no mistake: in his mind, Murphy thinks he’s sheltering Ann Frank from the Nazis. Because that’s how glittering self-righteousness always presents. It must be boasted about. But what he’s really doing is suggesting that, as Governor, he is sheltered from having to abide Federal immigration law.

   — and, because he’s a Democrat, he no doubt has this illegal doing domestic work for him. They do love them some cheap labor!

Everyone can see right through the sick schtick.

Murphy's STUNNING! BRAVE! Messenger from Xerxes moment is already falling flat for the theater it is...

...and Homan hasn't even figuratively kicked Murphy in his sunken chest yet.

I'd pay good money to see at least Murphy's front door kicked in.

I hope somebody's got a camera if and when they get there.
