Labour's Plan to Exterminate Asian Grooming (Rape) Gangs? Make the Term 'Islamophobic'

Don't you love it when a government believes it has a magic word wand that makes everything bedeviling them - and outraging the people they lord it - over go away?

Here in the States, the Democrats tried it with "misinformation." They slap that sucker on every opinion expressed and piece of factual information that is contrary to the BS they're spoonfeeding - or ins some cases outright shoveling - through their official orifices and media toadies, all designed to lead the population like sheep to the paddock.

When informed, equally qualified, and often eminently distinguished voices are raised who offer conflicting opinions to the government line, they are drowned by a chorus of 'denier,' 'skeptic,' and labeled as purveyors of [CUE: doom music, sonorous, echo enhanced voice] 'MISINFORMATION.'

Fortunately, as we have regained much of our senses here in the States and remembered in the nick of time, we are a constitutional republic and not a bureaucratic dictatorship. So singing appointed nannies can chirp about misinformation all they want and sling what they see as isolation-creating slurs when, in fact, they are labeling themselves irreparably as frantic authoritarian tools.

With none of the rest of us paying them the least attention other than derision and annoyance of the 'when does this end with them' kind.

God bless America.

It's a different story on the little island that birthed this great country, though. Tragic and incomprehensible to watch unfold unless you are an envious American progressive. The power the Labour Party has been wielding to distort, destroy, and direct their fellow countrymen's lives has been appalling and impressive at the same time. It's power Democrats and progressives, in particular, can only fantasize about.

Way back in August, I did a post on a swoony New York Times column that fantasized about what a great team Keir Starmer and Kamala Harris would make, as, the NYT dreamily envisioned, they were two peas out of the same progressive pod. I noted even then Starmer's fervor for pursuing justice against his fellow Brits for being British - flag waving, grousing - and preference for ignoring the documented and heinous transgressions of a large swath of the immigrant culture living among them.

...That's pretty much where the New York Times was yesterday, in a dreamy, gooey little number, waxing rhapsodic over the ascendency of "former prosecutor" Sir Keir Starmer to Prime Minister of England.

Could Starmer, the dewy-eyed scribblers of drivel dreamed, lead former prosecutor Harris to victory by example?

Once these deep thinkers started pondering, a parallel political universe emerged. It began to seem as though it might be possible as they realized how much the two former prosecutors had in common.

...Sir Keir is covering himself with the same sort of misplaced glory after becoming the titular head of the British government. He's not going after the guys doing the raping or running the grooming gangs or even setting villages on fire.

That's a protected class.

The former prosecutor has no interest in physical crimes and protecting law-abiding Brits. He's going after the "far-right," aka "working-class white people."

Times were so much simpler *checks notes* five months ago. Starmer is so much worse than merely ignoring the grooming gangs - he and his vile Minister for Safeguarding and Violence and Women and Girls, Jess Phillips, have taken active roles in attempting to permanently bury the story of hundreds of thousands of little British girls preyed upon by these rape gangs over the past few decades, and end any pursuit of justice and accountability.

No doubt, due to the explosion of international pressure and condemnation over their non-handling of the burgeoning scandal (thanks to exposure on X/ Elon Musk and bold UK papers like the Telegraph printing the truth, etc), they are additionally looking at using the dystopian hate speech/thought crime laws of the United Kingdom to render any mention of the grooming gangs as a hate crime by deeming the term to be 'Islamophobic.'

Starmer would make it all go away by making the mention of it a crime.

The idea took hold this past November when four of the councils in cities hardest hit by 'Asian grooming gangs' preying on their little girls inexplicably voted to declare the term Islamophobic because it 'perpetuated stereotypes.'

WHUT

Councils where young white girls were groomed and raped by British-Pakistani men have endorsed a definition of Islamophobia that brands the phrase “Asian grooming gangs” as racist.

Oxford, Newcastle, Manchester and Calderdale are four areas where the local councils have adopted a report that critics claim will silence whistleblowers trying to speak out against child abuse.

The report cautioned the phrase “Asian grooming gangs” was a modern repetition of “age-old stereotypes and tropes about Islam” of “sexual profligacy and paedophilia, or Islam and violence”, claiming that they “heighten the vulnerability of Muslims to hate crimes”.

It's always about how the Muslim community will be impacted, is it not? Never about how their members have impacted anyone else's community.

So strange how that is always, ALWAYS the case.

Even in a town like Oldham, where, if I remember correctly, a request for a government inquiry into the *check notes* started this current firestorm.

This is one example of what happened in the lovely burg of Oldham to their little white girls.

...The leader of the grooming gang, a chap called Shabir Ahmed, worked for the Council for years on end, as a 'welfare rights officer.' He ran his grooming gang out of the welfare office; another was on the Oldham Youth Council.

...Oldham is a town where a 12-year-old girl goes into the police station to report that she'd been raped by, 'An Asian male known only as Ali in the graveyard of Oldham Parish Church.'

The poor girl gets sloughed off by the desk officer and then in the lobby of the very police station, is led away by two other men who along with half a dozen others, rape her again and again all through the night...."

Whose very woke council members did nothing to address the abuse of these working-class and poorer children. In a godsmacking display of AWFL arrogance, one had the unmitigated gall to stand at a council meeting and assert it was no big deal. Those young lives weren't, like, ruined by this.

Pffft says the lumpy Labour rep - they're young. They get over it. And does it matter if they don't?

Local parents didn't 'get over it' and raised such hell that the cowards on the Oldham Council took the video of all their city meetings private. You see it was being 'maliciously edited.

Misinformation.

It's amazing how the 'report' from the four councils kowtowing to Muslim sensibilities in the face of sustained, horrific abuses of their own children came out at the same time as a self-serving, highly inflammatory Labour government report on the subject. A 'report' that was so spectacularly over the top, Starmer's bunch of brown boots were forced to 'disavow' it. That had to hurt because you know they badly wanted to have it in their arsenal.

Gosh, you'll never guess what it said.

GB News has forced Labour to disavow a Home Office report labelling concerns around mass migration and grooming gangs as “right-wing extremism”.

Following GB News’s expose, a Government source told this broadcaster that the “paper was not approved by Home Office Ministers”.

The report, which was leaked to GB News, gave an overview on extremism in Britain and was written by civil servants in the Home Office.

The paper claimed that grooming gangs are used as a “grievance narrative” by “right-wing extremists”.

It also labelled the belief that “Western culture is under threat from mass migration” as an "extremist" view.

The Research, Information and Communications Unit (RICU) memo warned "right-wing extremist narratives (particularly around immigration and policing) are in some cases 'leaking' into mainstream debates”.

The report cited concerns around two-tier policing as an example of this "extremist" narrative in action.

So basically everything a British citizen's lying eyes had seen - or the coppers in his living room because of a Facebook post/Xweet - were all his fevered, poisoned imagination. The very notice of such was "right-wing extremism" in action.

The funny thing is, these are the very sentiments coming out of Keir Starmer's mouth at the moment, now that his plan to sweep this all under the rug has gone horribly awry.

That his repulsive Safeguarding Minister's feeble attempt to claim victimhood over her dismissal of the suffering of children has been pilloried and mocked unmercifully worldwide.

That the Labour Party's rejection of a national grooming gang inquiry strips any semblance of humanity from the party and renders them unfit to govern a nation.

Cowards.

...On Wednesday night, after Labour MPs voted down a Tory effort to force a national inquiry, Chris Philp MP, shadow home secretary, accused the government of “cowardice”.

He said: “It is disgusting that Keir Starmer has used his supermajority in Parliament to block a national inquiry into the rape gangs scandal.

“Labour MPs have put their Party ahead of getting to the truth and turned a blind eye to justice for the victims. Labour MPs will have to explain to the British people why they are against learning the truth behind the torture and rape of countless vulnerable girls.

“We will not let them forget this act of cowardice.”

Cowards who are running out of options and rocks to hide under and so are at their most dangerous. Especially when there is not a scintilla of honor, decency, or love of England between the lot of them, and they do wield power with abandon.

Keir Starmer's party has consequently embraced the report from the four councils declaring the term 'Asian grooming gangs' to be 'Islamophobic' and is planning on refining it for application at a national level. Gracious - won't that make things easier for them to control? Win-win.

...The Labour Party formally adopted the report, which was written by the all-party parliamentary group (APPG) for British Muslims, co-chaired by health secretary Wes Streeting.

Now, the Government is considering a formal definition of anti-Muslim hate to be used nationally, which critics have hit out at, calling it a “blasphemy law”.

Former Labour MP Ann Cryer, who first raised concerns of the grooming of girls as young as 11 in Keighley, claimed local councils “were petrified of being called racist and so reverted to the default of political correctness”.

...On Friday, shadow home secretary Chris Philp called the definition an “insult to the victims”.

...He said: “It’s bad enough to hear these ideas coming from the Labour Party, but it is an insult to the victims that the very same councils who covered up these appalling crimes are attempting to manipulate the definition of Islamophobia to make it forbidden to even talk about the rape gangs.”

He added that the proposed definition was “dangerous,” claiming it “risks the persecution of people who tell the truth about issues like the rape gangs.”

Golly, Home Secretary! Don't be such a little black cloud!

That's exactly where the prime minister and all his Labour Council minions were going to begin with:

PERSECUTING THE TRUTH.

Now, calm down, and don't be a right-wing extremist.

Labour has a word wand to wave and make it all go away.
