Well, you know that happy, heartwarming, all-American Republican National Convention was getting under prog people's skins almost from the moment it opened.
WHY COULDN'T THERE BE SOME RIOTS OUT FRONT OR SOMETHING WAAH
Nothing but cheerful, optimistic Republicans going in the building day after day and night after night of must-see-TV warming the cockles of every patriot's heart while surely curdling some Democratic blood.
The mainstream media was desperately doing damage-control the best they could and, in many instances, ignoring some things completely while horribly twisting others in their own peculiarly demented fashion.
Two of the most moving speakers were the parents of a Hamas hostage, 22-year-old Omer Nuetra. Their gut-wrenching homage to their beautiful boy, prayers for his safe return, and open disgust with the Biden administration's execrable obliviousness towards Americans held in captivity by savages touched everyone in the audience.
The parents of Omer Neutra, an American hostage still being held by Hamas, deliver a heart wrenching speech at the #RNC.

The entire crowd erupts, chanting: “Bring Them Home.” pic.twitter.com/jtg2KMuOff
BRING THEM HOME rang through the air.
And triggered the media, specifically the tools at the Washington Post, into clean-up mode.
You see, the Biden mouthpieces explained, Omer wasn't so much a "hostage" as mostly "missing." And who are his parents to embarrass Biden over their kid when so many Gazans have been slaughtered and are hungry?
Yeah. They went there.
... In what world did anyone find it acceptable to publish in the first place?
And to add insult to injury, the article cites "local officials," aka the Gaza Health Ministry, which is run by Hamas - the terror organization that launched the barbaric 10/7 massacre that led to the ongoing war.
Are you kidding me, @washingtonpost? You may have deleted the post, but the thoughtless characterization of Omer Neutra's parents - who have spent the last 287 days not knowing the fate of their son after he was kidnapped by terrorists on Oct 7 - remains in your article.

Struck a nerve, I'd say.
And then the big guy got up there last night, and stepped on some more toes.

The entire stadium roaring for the hostages.
I watched this 15 times already. 🇺🇸🇮🇱 pic.twitter.com/TWbH77xkRX
CALL A WAAHMBULANCE
In their unparalleled penchant for totally bollixing everything they touch, the White House had POTATUS - or whatever Millennial writes his social media stuff - fire back in a sniffy-nosed, righteous snort at Trump's ultimatum to American hostage holders world-wide.
Only...they forgot something almost the magnitude of forgetting that American servicemembers have actually died during this God-forsaken presidency.
They didn't do the #mathz again.
You worthless old bastard.

NOT A SINGLE HAMAS HOSTAGE NAME.
And you had a chance to get Paul Whelan out, but the dope-smuggling black lesbian basketball player was so much more critical - and a flashier spring - to your rabid progressive block than just another unjustly…
Not a single name of any American hostage held by Hamas.
Not one.
And the nerve to use the name of the guy Biden stranded in Russia in his rush to look good getting the lesbian doper out. But, hey - that middle-aged white man could stew in the gulag a little longer, Jack.
You don't hate these people enough.
At least anywhere near how much they despise you.
