Next Great Dem Plan: Keep POTATUS Talking Cuz Then People Won't Notice the Mush-Mouth

I am a firm "AYE" on this one.

Please, for the love of God, you all.

GO FOR IT

Put creepy Mr Whispering Mumbles out there constantly. Subject us all to nine months of cringe and ick, sputter, venom, and brain blanks before November.

DO IT DO IT DO IT

Of course, the natural reaction will be, "Isn't Gampy totes adorbs...is someone going to help him get off of there?...Help him up?"

It's just a question of speech bias on our part, you know. Once we attune our ears, we will realize the wisdom and humanity shining through the "splurfs," the "um, well, fouggeaboudids," communing with the dead, and "shockaship cookies" food mumbles.

If speaking perfectly was the bar, this would have ended a long time ago. Joe Biden would never have become a senator, much less vice president and president. But Biden’s bloopers have always been part of the package. When Barack Obama was president, the then-vice president blundered so regularly that ABC News had a regular feature called, “Oh, That Joe!” to track some of his funnier missteps.

Now that he’s running for re-election, Biden’s lack of verbal dexterity has become something of a liability, as critics seek to turn each blip into evidence that he’s not up for the job. That happened last week, after special counsel Robert Hur said Biden might portray himself as an “elderly man with a poor memory” over his handling of classified documents. Biden called a press conference to push back, but — oh, that Joe — ended up referring to the president of Egypt as the president of Mexico toward the end.

Please. There's a Egyptian wall in Gaza and a Trump wall in Mexico. If you had any integrity, you'd admit you confuse them constantly. But you don't do it at a press conference where Republicans can pounce...but everyone knows you would.

According to this paid hack, Biden was a tongue-tied Ninja - even his "one" flustered flub didn't get in the way of giving as good as he got. Why, Biden even took some from a hostile press who was obviously unprepared to deal with his rapier intellect - he slung it like a pirate!

Who couldn't talk and didn't know where he was.

But a pirate none the less!

...Anyone watching the entire event saw Biden engaged in effective, substantive hand-to-hand verbal combat with the media. Some might not have liked his feistiness, but he was undeniably in command of the facts, arguably more so than some of the journalists posing questions...

And then Palmieri lapses into what seems to have been handed out as the post-press conference talking points i.e., "Gosh. He's the sharpest tack we know."

In meetings.

Oddly enough, that dovetailed nicely with John Stewart returning to the Daily Show, and his opening monologue. Now, if this guy irritates you, he's still going to, so don't bother. But if you were wondering if he could ever return to the form of the early show, he does here. Yes, he skewers Trump worse than Biden - hello. Surprise.

But.

Holy smokes.

He rips on Biden's age, and decrepit, mush-mouth creepiness (his mimicking Biden is where my "shockaship cookie" comes from). If Joe's really sharp as a tack in these meetings, Stewart asks, has anyone thought to video that guy?

It's good (I think with one NSFW word).

It's also awkwardly en pointe for a Democratic hierarchy at war with itself over what to do with Creepy Gampy, who's just been exposed publicly as the dementia-ridden geriatric half-wit we all knew he was. He's either got more of a mushroom for a brain than he had to begin with and shouldn't be president right now, or he's the world's greatest actor and needs to go to jail eventually.

There's no middle ground.

Personally, I think whatever intellectual faculties Biden had left the building ages ago, and only the tender ministration of his devoted (to her status) wife and his pharmacists have kept him upright and the drool from running down his chin. Better living through chemistry aside, all the pretending and wishful thinking in the world from strategists won't help disguise what is essentially a barely ambulatory meat sack posturing as the country's chief executive and God help us.

Sure, geniuses - send out the clown. Make those memories.

Over at Instapundit, they often lead with their personal POTATUS golden oldie favorite:  TRUNALIMUNUMAPRZURE!

That's a whimsical spelling of this memorable POTATUS moment.

The more I mull over this idea, the more I like it.

No wonder Dem consultants make so much money. They sure are smart.
