And then the trickle stopped. No more releases, even though Israel and the US knew well there were more women and children being held. Where were they?

Why weren’t they included? Where were the rest of the hostages?

These people hadn’t been asked to go to Gaza.

Over 240 human beings were brutally stolen from their homes by degenerate savages. Much in the same vein as the “not Hamas supporters” who then helped the terrorists drag hostages back into Gaza, and hide them away to begin with…

A 70-year-old Israel woman who cared for a disabled adult daughter was executed while being held hostage by the Hamas terror group, according to a report Friday.

Ofra Keidar was among six Israelis killed in captivity in Gaza, Israel’s Haaretz newspaper said.

Keidar was kidnapped from Kibbutz Be’eri near Gaza on Oct. 7 by Hamas terrorists who reportedly snatched her as she took her regular early morning walk.

Before being abducted, she called her family and said she was being fired upon, Haaretz said.

“Why are you shooting at me? What did I do?” she was reportedly overheard saying to her assailants.

“What did I do?” What did any of them do besides live in Israel.

And for that sin of being Jewish, of being in the wrong place at the wrong time even if you weren’t a Jew, the price was horrific savagery, and barbarism. In your own home, on your own street, or enjoying a morning with your friends.

Those who were spirited off into the Balrog’s lair of Hamas’s Gaza were taken as shields, for the sheer cruelty, and for the pleasure of their sick, depraved, and twisted captors. The same infamous manipulative scum who have consequently used their precious lives as carrots to achieve restocking pauses in Israeli bombardments and the repatriation of Palestinian terrorists who managed to lived through their attack attempts, and were incarcerated in Israeli prisons.

As everyone knew would happen, the brokered “ceasefire” broke down when Hamas had everything they needed to continue on for a while longer. “All” the hostages weren’t close to being released. In what I thought was a terrible bargain, a deal had been struck for just the women and children, at something like a 3-1 Hamas to Israeli ratio.

And the barbarians still couldn’t give all the women and children back.

What was the glitch this time? What was the excuse?

Israel had turned everyone over.

And then, just a bit ago, a US State department spokesman said something during a news conference that sounded suspiciously like the truth.

I’m sure he’s going to have to walk it back. But the words in the tweet above weren’t a mistake by the reporter – he didn’t mishear or misinterpret anything.

Mathew Miller said it. And I guaran-damn-tee you, he’s correct.

But the terrifying thing is what happens now? It’s out there, no doubt it’s accurate because Hamas is already calling several of the hostage accounts false – WE TREAT YOU SO NICE WHEN YOU VISIT AND YOU DO THIS TO US – and we have such weak-kneed milquetoasts everywhere but Bibi’s office and the IDF HQ.

What does Hamas do? What does POTATUS do, not that they’ve really done anything but complicate matters with waffling. And now our moronic example of a diversity pick VP is telling the world we have to reboot the Palestinian Authority – even as hostages (or their dead bodies) rot in Gaza tunnels.

Does Hamas just wax them all and claim Israelis did it with their big, bad bombs? Or do corpses start mysteriously appearing in ditches overnight?

It’s all too awful to think about. and when you have to think there’s not a single level head left in this government you’d want anywhere near an effort to get your loved one home? For all the squandered opportunities?

That’s what’s really terrifying.
