John Kerry's not the boss of me

As if it wasn’t a whale of a weekend for self-imposed Green disasters. On Friday I told you about Germany shutting the last of its operating nuclear reactors.

Anyone with half a brain – which doesn’t include a soul in the ruling class of European elites – knows this will be a catastrophe eventually, and an epic hardship on everyday Germans almost from the get-go, as of that last flip switching off Saturday evening.

In fact, the misery didn’t wait for a post-nuclear funeral dirge – it got a jump start beforehand. No point in wasting time putting the screws to folks when you’ve got the energy cat in the bag.

The Scholz government has approved open pit coal mines and new or upgraded/retrofitted coal fired electricity plants to kinda/sorta make up for the electricity generation capacity lost with these “dirty” nuclear plants.

It must make perfect sense in some sort of Teutonic logical progression we’re not comprehending, like “equitable new math” or something. For example, how 2 + 2 only equals 4 because it’s a social construct, and, if you don’t feel good about it, why can’t it equal 7? Well, it can because #feelingz. This is how filthy dirty coal and open pit mining suddenly are cleaner and more necessary than safely and cleanly-running-for-multiple-decades nuclear plants.

The Euroweenie Greens, as you might well imagine, were practically orgasmic. Greenpeace was whooping it up with a prostrate T-Rex sculpture…

…while a French Green Party senator, being, you know, French, took time out of her happy rejoicing to declare no nuclear plants were better than sex.

SOCCER BLUR as Americans would say it.

Also, note to self, her country still has its nukes, is upgrading the same and she’ll still be able to take pretentious, virtue-signaling photos thanks to “electricity” even when it’s dark outside while the people whose nuclear plants were actually shut off wonder where their next kilowatt is coming from and how they’ll pay for it.

But, oh, happy seal clap!

Meanwhile, how’d that No-Mo-Glo party start anyways, eh? Did the Germans escape the atomic age with a big bang or a whimper?

Hello???

Oh, dear.

Speaking of “dirty” – there’s a dirty little secret about Germany’s “renewables.” They’ll never catch up to what Germany’s given up. And Germany has no intention of making up for any of it. They’re going to use their big, economic hammer to take whatever they can get to fill in the gaps at whatever it costs to buy it whenever they find it. Which sounds like a great plan, as long as there’s enough excess in the system to be bought. One of these days there may well not be, as California has found out to their constant peril. As well as Texas previously, Tennessee, North and South Carolina this past winter, alongside other states moving in renewable directions.

There do come times when everyone is overwhelmed and then the whole system sinks.

Once you start contracting out your power generation based on surpluses in other places, you are at the mercy of events and demand in?

Other places.

This brings me back to the States and something sonorously uttered by our equine-faced, patrician, pedantic Climate Guru, Lurch John F. Kerry. The insufferable prig is all in on the new, renewable Climate math, you see. And tough on y’all peasants.

So much has been invested in clean energy that there can be no rolling back of moves to end carbon emissions, U.S. climate envoy John Kerry said Sunday.

Kerry noted that if countries deliver on promises to phase out polluting fossil fuels, the world can limit average global warming to 1.7 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit), better than the worst case scenarios but still above the current limit of 1.5 C global warming above pre-industrial levels.

…The Biden administration has moved aggressively to entice companies to invest in electric vehicles and other cleaner energy technologies. While the U.S. still lags some other countries in use of EVs, the market is changing as consumer preferences evolve and manufacturers invest billions.

No one person can roll back what’s happening in the climate sector, Kerry said, “because private companies have made major bets on the future and they’re not going to reverse them.”

Just the mention of that creature’s name sets my teeth on edge, less mind listening to or reading one of his pompous imperial pronouncements about THE WAY THINGS MUST BE.

No. I’m sorry, pal, but you’re not the boss of me – or any of us for that matter. And we’ve got to roll over because corporations have spent too much?

I don’t think so.

We also are well aware of the frauds being perpetrated on us daily by the renewable energy cabal and their toadies like yourself in the globalist elite. Because you all spew so many talking points that make no sense, and take action with no knowledge, as my friend Jusper points out here.

The ones who genuflect the lowest, grovel on the floor the longest, are the ones who know the least about any of it.

And yet? They are the ones condemning the rest of us, force-marching us, headlong into a completely changed world, and one that is not better than that we have.

While making sure, insulated as they are, not much is going to change for them.

No, John Effin Kerry.

I believe you’re through here.

We are through getting rolled.
