I Schiff you not.

The Charlemagne of Climate Change also lowered your energy bills.

Perhaps you hadn’t noticed.

There’s a lot to digest in that 11 seconds if someone had the stomach for it.

About those “lower” energy bills – he and his cackling hen of a VP just can’t stop themselves from stepping into that self-laid trap.

Vice President Kamala Harris claimed Wednesday that the Biden administration has worked to provide Americans with lower gas and electricity bills despite higher-than-normal energy prices putting a financial crunch on many families.

“For working families, we have reduced heating and electricity bills so folks have more money in their pockets to buy things like schools supplies, replace the dishwasher or take a family vacation,” she said during a speech on efforts to lower costs for homebuyers at Bowie State University in Maryland.

…”What is she talking about? Electricity is up 11.9%, fuel oil is up 27.7%, and natural gas is up 26.7% over last year,” an RNC tweet read.

…”Gas prices are up $1.03 a gallon from when Joe Biden took office. Biden’s administration continues to undermine American energy,” RNC rapid response director Tommy Pigott tweeted at the time. “Families have lost $2,250 paying higher energy costs since he took office.

In the comments on the speech clip, people from California were apoplectic about their lack of Biden’s “energy savings.” Whatever kind of ongoing energy price hikes the rest of us have taken, those guys got twice as bad thanks to, well, being California.

Electricity – when they have it – has become very dear

…and natural gas, while they still can get it, has gone through the frickin’ roof.

And that pricing snek has a firm grip on its own tail, believe me.

In the wake of skyrocketing gas rates, a utility company executive suggested that hikes in natural gas costs could lead to higher electricity bills this summer.

The news of a potential hike in electricity prices came during a California Public Utilities Commission hearing Tuesday to explore the causes of this winter’s dramatic rise in natural gas prices.

“Wholesale natural gas prices have risen to alarming levels this winter,” CPUC President Alice Reynolds said to start the four-hour meeting, noting that consumer natural gas bills are up between 2 and 2.5 times what they were a year ago.

Though gas bills for California customers are beginning to drop due to lower costs for natural gas in February, the compounding effects on electric bills may still be coming.

Here in Florida, we’re fixin’ to get hammered because Florida Power and Light held off hitting us for their fuel costs, because they were so volatile. What’d they do? Oh, they just let them stack up. So on top of the scheduled rate increases, AND the Hurricane Ian/storm damage recoupment charges, guess what we are gonna get nailed for some time this year?

A $3.4 BILLION overdue fuel bill. Gosh, thanks, Brandon!

PSC watchdog rips FPL, other utilities for letting fuel costs stack up
FPL delayed taking this action this year because of the volatility in the natural gas market, saying in a July filing that putting off this cost recovery adjustment would “mitigate the possibility that FPL’s forecast will result in a significant over-recovery in the event the market begins to moderate as the year progresses.”

The utility instead will make its request to recoup this money from customers in January, after using actual data from 2022.

For this, the Office of Public Counsel blasted FPL and other utilities.

“There is no rational basis for the companies letting $3.4 billion in fuel costs stack up and imperil the well-being of customers, both personal and economic,” said Deputy Public Counsel Charles Rehwinkel on Nov. 17. He referred to all of the electric utilities’ expected 2022 under-recovered fuel costs, including an estimated $2 billion from FPL.

Under Climate Charlemagne, the only things going down are bank accounts, hopes, and dreams.

How pathetic can they be – they’ve even got the tiny treasury creature parroting the debunked talking points.

If only excessive, serial repetition made it so. “Cost relief” is not slightly coming off highs your policies created. You shouldn’t be crowing about it as if you’d accomplished something.

Likewise, paying people’s utility bills and for home upgrades with other taxpayers’ money doesn’t count as “lowering energy costs” even though someone got a bit of a break.

I can spell “boondoggle”, especially when it’s wrapped in combating “the climate crisis” and “advancing environmental justice.”

All I see is the future flying out the door, wrapped in dollar bills.

They had a path to a better life and I think that’s cut off, for now, ,” Charles Payne says.

Joe Biden did that. Democrats did that. Yet they’re out every day, baldly blowing smoke as if everything was copasetic and roses.

Biden’s a blowhard liar and malevolent to the core.
