Roy Moore is apparently having a hard time accepting the fact that he lost a safe Republican Senate race. Now, he’s asking for supporters to open up their wallets and fund an “election integrity fund” ahead of the certification of the election, which is expected to occur between December 26th and January 3rd.

On election night after Doug Jones was declared the winner, Moore said he was going to “wait on God” before he would accept reality. Even Hillary Clinton had the sense to concede the day after her loss to Donald Trump, but not Moore. The embattled judge refuses not only to accept the results, but he’s asking for his supporters to stuff his Christmas stocking with cash to help keep his dream of becoming a United States Senator alive.

Essentially, Moore is seeking a campaign financed safe space to deal with the results of the election. He wants supporters to pony up $75,000. Jones’s victory was well above the threshold to trigger a recount. Alabama is ready to move forward, but Moore is having a hard time accepting his status as a loser.

Moore isn’t the only one who has had trouble accepting the loss. As Allahpundit wrote yesterday, OAN originally reported that the Alabama Republican won the election. Also, a video of highlights of his election party showcases how uncomfortable his campaign is with accepting Tuesday’s results.

With 100 percent of Alabama’s precincts reporting, there aren’t enough outstanding military ballots to fill the gap, but the apparent cash-strapped Moore wants to keep embarrassing himself by continuing this charade. Moore’s campaign is claiming it will use the funds to help unearth voter fraud. “My campaign team is busy collecting numerous reported cases of voter fraud and irregularities for the Secretary of State’s office,” a campaign statement said.

The morning after the election, Mike Huckabee even pointed out that it was time for Moore to throw in the towel and that God was not going to break his silence in this matter and come to Moore’s rescue.

Moore’s refusal to accept the results and concede with grace have exposed him to be a sore loser. Anyone sending him money to fund an election result safe space will own that title as well.
