Reiner: 'It's Time to Stop F***ing Around' - Biden Must Go

Welp. If President Biden has lost the support of actor and producer Rob Reiner, things are getting tough.

Reiner is a big donor to the Democrat Party. He participates in fundraising events. He has been a loyal Biden supporter. Now he is joining other big donors in calling for Biden to step aside.

A little over a week ago, Reiner hosted a fundraiser with Kamala for incumbents. It's enough to give someone whiplash. Democrat donors are jumping ship at an accelerated rate at this point though most were still cheerleading for Biden just days ago.

Reiner is really committed to the farce that if former President Trump is re-elected, American democracy is gone. He joins recent calls for Biden to leave the race from Netflix's Reed Hastings and Abigail Disney. Reiner said it is more important to save American democracy from Trump than for "the sometimes uncertain and rambling" Biden to stay in his re-election race.

Reiner described Biden as a man who has served the country with "honor, decency, and dignity." Please. Enough with the nonsense. No one believes that or the polling on his popularity wouldn't be historically the lowest of any president in modern times. That phony description of Biden is part of the big lie perpetuated by Democrats. They conned Americans for almost four years with a sham presidency

Perhaps more than previous big donors or even high-ranking elected Democrats seeking the poll-sagging Biden’s departure from the race, Reiner is a whale of a game changer. A steadfast supporter of not just Joe Biden, but Democratic candidates up and down the ballots over the decades, to lose Reiner is close to losing the grandmothers at Stalingrad for the president.

Reiner and spouse Michele held an event with the VP on June 29 in LA. Just two days after the president’s stumbling performance live on CNN against a lie spreading but pumped up Trump. That evening, the Vice President was candid(ish) about the “elephant in the room.” The former California Senator admitted what everyone saw with their own eyes that Biden did not have his “finest” hour. A loyal soldier, the Veep still declared that nothing in the campaign had truly changed because of “a day in June” and that Biden would wipe the floor with Trump.

Biden has to go.

Many Democrats say publicly that they still support Biden but others accept that the chances of Biden beating Trump in November are diminishing from day to day.

Biden is in a pickle. If he hides away, as he did during the 2020 campaign, he will look as though he is avoiding making himself available. But when he does events, he always says something that draws attention to his mental deterioration.

The move from Reiner is a signal to others that it is ok to publicly stop supporting Biden. ‘He’s cooked,” another prominent Hollywood director said.

Two other big donors moved away from Biden over the weekend.

Ahead of Biden’s interview with ABC News on Friday, former PayPal CEO Bill Harris announced he’s pledged $2 million to the new political action committee Democrats for the Next Generation, with the intent of supporting several debates among contenders for the nomination if Biden ends his campaign.

On Saturday, real estate developer Rick Caruso tweeted in response to a Los Angeles Times piece that urged Biden to leave the race, “I deeply respect Joe Biden’s lifetime of service to our country. But the argument @LATstevelopez makes in this column is the right one. In this critical time, in this vital election, stepping aside is the right and honorable thing for President Biden to do.”

It's going to be another long week for Team Biden. No sympathy here. They were complicit in the big lie and now they can deal with it.
