James Carville was a guest on The Lead with Jake Tapper on Monday. His frustration with fellow Democrats was real. 

Poor James. The one-time go-to Democrat strategist finds himself rather irrelevant these days. The Biden campaign isn't paying any attention to his rants about how they should run the campaign, that's for sure. And they definitely are not hearing his pleas that Joe Biden step out of the presidential race.

Democrats have to give the people what they want, you know. Otherwise, why is there a Democrat Party at all?

Biden's debate disaster was the final straw for the Ragin' Cajun. Carville is in full-blown unhinged mode. Carville began his rant by citing that polling shows that 72% of voters want something (someone) different. Why can't the Democrat Party produce that?

“We have a country that 72% want something different,” said Carville. “If the Democratic party can’t produce something different that 72% of people want, why do we exist? What are we here for? I mean, the country is clamoring for change,  and what are we going to offer them? The same stuff?”

“It doesn’t make any sense, Jake!” he exclaimed. “Give people what they want, vox populi! They want something different! Let’s give it to them!”

Vox populi, y'all. 

27% of voters post-debate say that Biden has the mental health to be president. 28% say he should be running for president. That is CNN's polling. Those are devastatingly low numbers for any candidate, much less the sitting president. 

The president and the vice president are historically unpopular. The Democrats are in a mess of their own making. Everyone knew of Biden's mental and physical decline but the Democrats and those around him circled the wagons, along with the media, and protected him. No one stopped him from running for re-election even though there is reporting post-debate that Biden is only really able to work between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. He's a part-time president, at best. Add all the time he spends at his homes in Delaware and Camp David, and the Big Guy has quite a cushy schedule. America and the world need a full-time president. A workaholic would be best - like Trump who is up late at night and up early in the morning. 

Carville said he doesn't take any pleasure in saying what he does about Biden. You know he is thinking that if Team Biden had only listened to him, the campaign would be going better. How could he not? He was out in front last year talking about Biden shouldn't run for re-election because he's too old while everyone else was complicit in the situation to save their own jobs and remain in power.

In the end, Carville admitted, "I don’t have any business running any campaigns any more.” It's true. Carville's time in the sun is over. He'll continue speaking out, though, because it is his nature. 

Biden, Democrats, and the media lied to Americans for four years. They are the threats to democracy that they accuse Trump and MAGA World of being. Vox populi, indeed. The people have spoken and they prefer Trump.
