Hunter Biden's baby mama, Lunden Roberts, has a book coming out in August. That isn't good news for President Joe Biden.

It hasn't been a great week for Joe Biden. The stories coming from Time magazine and the Wall Street Journal are seen as Democrats signaling that the president really isn't up to the job of being the leader of the free world. He's too old and feeble. He is suffering from dementia. He speaks so softly in meetings that no one can hear him or understand him. That was proven today when Biden spoke with Ukrainian President Zelensky. Reporters who covered the one-on-one meeting said that Biden's remarks were misunderstood because he was speaking too softly. For instance, it sounded like Biden promised to rebuild Ukraine's electrical grid but the White House cleaned it up by saying Biden was talking about the millions of dollars worth of munitions that the United States was going to send to Ukraine.

So, has Joe Biden forgotten that he acknowledged his fifth granddaughter who is now 5 years old and lives in Arkansas? Lunden Roberts spoke with Piers Morgan. In the interview, she said that Joe Biden and Jill have not reached out to their youngest grandchild, Navy Joan. 

Joe and Jilly from Philly paint a picture of a political family that is close to each other and supportive when times get tough. Jill, for example, is sitting in the front row of the courtroom where Hunter is on trial for gun charges. It's jury intimidation in a Biden-friendly town in Delaware but never mind that. She wants voters to see she is supporting Hunter. She sits with Ashley Biden, Hunter's sister, and Melissa Cohen, Hunter's wife. 

During the interview on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” which premiered on YouTube Thursday, Lunden said she is not surprised that Navy's grandparents have not reached out since they have ignored the little girl all along. 

Originally, Joe and Jill excused their ignoring of Navy by saying that Hunter didn't want them to connect with her. Now that the story is public, why continue to ignore her? 

Lunden said that Hunter has not met his youngest child in person. He is establishing a relationship with her via Zoom calls. She said Hunter was ordered to speak with Lunden once a month but he is in touch more frequently. He calls at least once a week, sometimes more, and keeps up with checking in with her. 

She credits Hunter for not asking her to get an abortion when she became pregnant with Navy Joan. At the time of their relationship, Hunter was dating his brother Beau's widow, Hallie. 

Lunden offers more grace toward the Biden family than they deserve. The premise that Joe Biden is empathetic and a big family man may have been true at one point in his life but not now. He is a selfish, self-centered old man who puts his needs above those of his family and our country. 

Why can't Joe and Jill introduce themselves to Navy via Zoom calls, too? They take long weekends in Delaware or Camp David almost every weekend. They have the downtime to do it. 

The Bidens are not good people. Joe Biden and his campaign paint Donald Trump as a bad person, and I'm not saying that he doesn't have his own baggage. However, the Biden campaign should sit the politics of personal destruction against Trump out. Their guy is a mess.

Lunden gracefully said that it's ok - Navy Joan can wait a bit longer to meet her father in person.

“The world knows Hunter has a lot on his plate right now,” Roberts told Moran. “I think that that needs to be his main focus. The rest can come after.

“Navy is well aware. She knows that her father is very busy right now and he’s got a lot of things going on. She’s waited five years. She can wait a couple more months.”

Where is all that empathy, Joe? What about Jill who frequently takes one of Hunter's older daughters on trips with her? 

Lunden Roberts is scheduled to be a witness in Hunter's gun trial. She hopes that Joe Biden will pardon Hunter.

“I feel like Hunter is one of those people that have always had great potential and he’s an amazing person to know,” she told Morgan. “I always hoped that that demon and that addiction wouldn’t just pull him down because I saw it had it sank its claws in him. I always hoped that he was getting help.”

Roberts, Roberts, a former college basketball star from Arkansas, said she doesn’t want to see Hunter go to prison and hopes his father would pardon him if it came to that.

Biden said he will not pardon Hunter.

In an interview with ABC News' David Muir in Normandy, France, Biden was asked whether he would accept the results of the federal trial underway in Delaware, which he replied "yes."

And when asked whether he would rule out pardoning Hunter if convicted, Biden also answered "yes."

Biden is a habitual liar, though. He'll pardon his son. 

After flying to France to join Joe for the D-Day ceremonies yesterday, Jill hopped back on her plane and flew back to sit in Hunter's courtroom today. Later today she will again jump on her plane and return to Paris for a state dinner.  What happened to climate issues? That's quite a carbon footprint. She has a jury to intimidate. 

Delaware is Biden country. It's easy for Joe to say he won't pardon Hunter when he thinks Hunter won't be convicted.
