Remember when President Biden ran on a promise to bring America back to 'normal?' He promised to have people with him in the White House who were experienced and knew what they were doing to make the government run. Most of all, he promised to unite the country and heal the nation's soul. 

It was all bs. There is nothing normal in Biden's America. Biden is the most angry and divisive president in my lifetime. He and his family are corrupt, selling access to The Big Guy for millions of dollars, including making deals with foreign officials who wish ill on us. Now Biden is grasping to hold onto power even though he is 81 years old and suffering from dementia. 

Democrats have introduced lawfare in this presidential campaign. Just like in banana republics, Biden and his DOJ, along with other Democrats in Washington, D.C., Miami, and Atlanta are willing to indict Trump for alleged crimes to keep him tied up in court instead of on the campaign trail. To hold on to power, Democrats are working to keep Trump out of the White House. They hope he will be in jail or restricted at home instead of campaigning and then winning the election. 

One thing Democrats are trying to do is to re-make the Supreme Court. They want to expand the court with more justices and that means more progressive justices. Democrats don't want to follow the Constitution, they just want the justices to do their political bidding. 

So far, the progressives have not been successful. Democrats have been working overtime to push Justice Clarence Thomas off the court because his wife is politically active. If she was a Democrat, it would be ok. But, she's not. Democrats try to blame Thomas for his wife's activities. Thomas is strong and refuses to bow to Democrats who call for him to retire or to recuse himself from cases that involve the former president, Donald Trump.

When the Supreme Court took up the Dobbs case on abortion, Justice Alito held a lead role. A draft written by Alito was leaked (ahem!) to the DNC-friendly media outlets. Ever since that draft became public, the long knives on the left were out for him. 

Now it's FlagGate. Mrs. Alito likes flags. She likes to fly them at their house. Several years after she flew a flag known as a symbol of distress, the media began to report on it. Senate Democrats are short on knowledge of American history and long on political partisanship. One flag she flew dates back to George Washington and the American Revolution. That doesn't matter. They try to tie her actions to Christian nationalism and white supremacy.  Nothing is too absurd for Democrats.

Alito, like Thomas, is ignoring demands by Democrats that he recuse himself on any cases that have to do with J6 or Trump in general. So, two senators tried to get a meeting with Chief Justice John Roberts. They have been denied a meeting.

Yeah. No. No meeting for them. They claim to want to talk about ethics reform. Roberts isn't falling for it. Where was there concern about ethics when the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg mouthed off about Donald Trump during the 2016 election? Not a peep was heard then. As a matter of fact, the left cheered her on. 

"I must respectfully decline your request for a meeting," Roberts wrote in a letter obtained by the Washington Examiner.

"In regard to questions concerning any Justice's participation in pending cases, the Members of the Supreme Court recently reaffirmed the practice we have followed for 235 years pursuant to which individual Justices decide recusal issues," he added.

Roberts said that only on "rare occasions in our Nation's history" has a chief justice met with legislators with both major political parties present. He noted the separation of powers between the judicial and legislative branches and the importance of "preserving judicial independence counsel against such appearances."

"Moreover, the format proposed — a meeting with leaders of only one party who have expressed an interest in matters currently pending before the Court — simply underscores that participating in such a meeting would be inadvisable," Roberts said.

Chief Justice Roberts is saving democracy, not Trump-deranged Democrats. Good for him.
