Nancy Mace Destroyed George Stephanopoulos as he Tried to Shame Her for Supporting Trump

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) was invited on ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos to talk about the 2024 presidential election. Instead, he got schooled by a strong conservative woman.

Georgie Boy was way out of his league. He began with the first question by asking Nancy Mace, a rape victim, how she can support Donald Trump for president when he was convicted of rape by a jury.

It is well worth your time to watch how that went for Stephanopoulos:

Imagine the chutzpah shown by Stephanpulos. He has a job and is paid handsomely by ABC News because of his association with former President Bill Clinton. Clinton has his own past as a rapist if memory serves. He may still be exploiting women, who knows?

Mace correctly pointed out that Trump's case with E.Jean Carroll was a civil case, not a criminal one. He was found guilty of sexual assault, not rape. And, it was clearly a political hit against a presidential candidate. She waited over 30 years to come forward and did so because a NeverTrump former Republican advised her to do so. Then, in her victory lap on MSNBC, she laughed about the whole case and her financial reward. Trump denied the incident happened.

But, this is an election year and Democrats are using lawfare to keep Trump out of the White House. It is something we've never seen before and it has to stop. This is election interference at the highest levels. The people saying that democracy must be saved are the very ones who are destroying it.

Only two questions were asked of Nancy Mace during her time on the Sunday morning show - the attack on her as a rape victim supporting Trump and January 6th. Georgie asked how she could support Trump after saying that he should not hold office again after the events of January 6th.

So, her repeated response to Georgie about taking offense that he was victim-shaming her over her political choice for president went on for more than half the interview. Georgie asked her over and over again how she could support Trump and she repeated over and over again that she was disgusted by his question. She held the line. She did not go wobbly in the face of ugly Democrat opposition. She is the first woman graduate of The Citadel and her steely determination to defend herself showed through like a bright light. I was cheering her on. We all should.

On the question about January 6th, she also held her own. She explained that she said her piece in the aftermath of January 6, 2021. Now she is listening to her constituents in South Carolina. They want Trump to win in November, she said, and her job is to listen and represent her constituents. She said that Trump will easily win South Carolina in November. That's an easy prediction - South Carolina is a deep red state and Trump is very popular there. He beat the state's two-term governor, Nikki Haley, in the South Carolina Republican primary.

I'm sure Georgie will be high-fived by his social circle for his abusive treatment of a Republican woman. He was, as Nancy Mace said, disgusting. Right out of the gate, she slayed him and he didn't recover. He tried over and over again and she would not bend. She is not a Republican who strives for Democrat approval, that's for sure.

I think little Georgie may have a problem with women. He proved he was way out of his league with Nancy Mace. The interview ended on the same combative note in which it began. She held the line and I was so proud of her. More of that from Republicans, please.
