Elon Musk said the quiet part out loud Friday. On X, Musk posted his thoughts on why there are so few deportations of illegal aliens during the Biden administration.

He went on to state what many border security hawks say – the Biden border crisis is intentional and it’s all about the votes. Joe Biden has a goal of giving about 11 million illegal aliens already in the United States a pathway to citizenship. Then they can vote and most likely vote Democrat. Viola! A one-party political system is created in America.

What seems to have really set off Musk was the attack on police officers in New York City by illegal aliens. They were arrested and immediately released with only a date to return for a court appearance. What an atrocity. Deportations are lost votes.

This explains why there are so few deportations, as every deportation is a lost vote.

He points to a bill written in 2021 that spells out the pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal aliens.

Fortunately, as Musk points out, Senators Manchin and Sinema were in the Senate at the time and shut that legislation down. It won’t be the case next year. Manchin is retiring and Sinema may or may not win re-election. She is an independent now, having left the Democrat Party.

Elon Musk isn’t just another person on social media grousing about the catastrophe on the southern border, both a humanitarian crisis and a national security crisis. He has been to the southern border in Texas and taken a tour with Border Patrol and other law enforcement to see what is going on there for himself. Joe Biden has only taken one quick trip to see a sanitized portion of El Paso and a section of the border wall during his term in office. That is the only time in his entire life in public office that he has bothered to do so.

The numbers just keep getting worse.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) report for fiscal 2023 shows that the number of illegal immigrants on the non-detained docket has soared from 3.7 million in FY 2021 to nearly 4.8 million in FY 2022 to nearly 6.2 million in FY 2023.

Musk is a legal immigrant from South Africa. Legal immigrants are often the most vocal against illegal immigration. They did it the legal way and it’s not easy. It takes a lot of time and money to go through the process. Joe Biden’s open border and open invitation for the world to come here incentivizes more and more to come. No deportations and a free pass given in the catch and release process being used now creates a magnet for illegal immigration. Joe Biden could take out his pen and sign executive orders right this minute that would reinstate the policies and agreements used during the Trump administration to secure the border. He doesn’t have to wait for Congress to do something. He used executive orders on his very first day in office to un-do the Trump policies. He stalls now and claims it is the fault of Republicans in Congress that the border is open. He thinks Americans are stupid.

Biden is trying to flip the narrative during this presidential election year. He is way down in the polls on every big issue for voters in 2024. Illegal immigration and border security is the top issue for voters. The issue of immigration rarely rises to the top of the list of voter concerns in a presidential election but Biden’s dereliction of duty in securing the border has created a situation where every state is now a border state. Illegal aliens have been transferred from Texas to every Congressional district in the United States. DHS has deliberately bussed and flown illegals all across the country. It was only when Governor Abbott began bussing illegal aliens out of Texas to the destinations of their choice – blue sanctuary cities – that suddenly Democrats decided this is a bad thing to do. It was fine when Texas was dealing with the millions of illegal aliens on its own.

Musk points out that there are no consequences, so why arrest illegal aliens in the first place?

“What is even the point of arresting criminals if nothing is done!?” Musk wrote later about a report on a Venezuelan woman who had been arrested eight times in the last six months. “No prison, no deportation.”

He previously argued that gaining asylum status after illegally crossing the southern border is as easy as a Google search.

Musk, the owner of Tesla, SpaceX and X (formerly Twitter), also suggested that the influx of illegal immigrants will be used as a ruse for ballot harvesting in upcoming elections.

He makes a legitimate point. It’s all a charade.

Governor Abbott created a border security initiative in March 2021 when the Biden border crisis was gaining ground. It’s called Operation Lone Star and the Texas Legislature budgets tax dollars to fund its operations, like bussing illegals to sanctuary cities.

Texas has spent more than $124 million sending buses of migrants to sanctuary cities, according to records obtained by Nexstar.

According to documents Nexstar obtained, Texas has paid $124,603,616.19 to bus more than 100,000 migrants from the state’s border communities to Washington D.C., New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver and Los Angeles as of Jan. 10. That equals out to 2,245 buses year to date, an average of 45 migrants per bus.

Nexstar obtained the documents through a public information request to the Texas Division of Emergency Management — the agency tasked with this initiative. The majority of the payments have been made to Wynne Transportation LLC, with a handful of payments made to Transportation Management Services Inc.

Texas taxpayers are paying the price of Joe Biden’s neglect. There is no end in sight. This is deliberate and Musk is simply saying what many others are thinking.
