Never let it be said that Hunter Biden lacks chutzpah. He penned an op-ed published in USA Today on Thursday where he blamed Republicans for a disinformation campaign against his father and an annihilation of his reputation.

Hunter Biden is a 53-year-old man-child who has lived a life of privilege. He has monetized his family name, offering potential access to his father in exchange for some hefty payments. He and others in the Biden family have made millions of dollars solely on the Biden name. The Biden family is corrupt to its core and Joe Biden is very likely compromised as president because of the payments Hunter and Joe’s brother, James, have received. While Democrats were fond of the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax against Trump that was completely fake and make up by Hillary Clinton and her campaign staffers, it is legit to repeat China, China, China against Joe Biden. Biden, a.k.a. The Big Guy, received his cut in Hunter’s deals, according to material discovered on his laptop from hell.

The House Oversight Committee is doing stellar work on uncovering layer after layer of Biden Crime Family business dealings. They have the receipts, as in the bank records. Is it just a coincidence that Hunter’s op-ed was published the day after House Oversight Committee Chairman Comer exposed a $40,000 payment that looks to be laundered money from CEFC China Energy, a company linked to the Chinese government? Joe’s brother James and his wife transferred that money to him via a transfer. I don’t believe in coincidences, especially in politics.

Hunter described the House investigations into the Biden Crime Family as “high-pitched but fruitless congressional investigations.” If that was true, Hunter wouldn’t have written such a ridiculous op-ed. Comer and other House Republicans have uncovered a paper trail that is long and very crooked. Hunter is nervous that his time in the White House is coming to an end. His father’s chances for re-election are not looking good these days.

My struggles and my mistakes have been fodder for a vile and sustained disinformation campaign against him, and an all-out annihilation of my reputation through high-pitched but fruitless congressional investigations and, more recently, criminal charges for possessing an unloaded gun for 11 days five years ago – charges that appear to be the first-ever of their kind brought in the history of Delaware.

Hunter lied on the application when he bought that “unloaded” gun. He lied about his drug addiction. That was a crime, not that he possessed an unloaded gun for 11 days. He is so used to never being held accountable for his behavior that he’s shocked when he has to pay the piper. It is particularly offensive that he plays the addict card as he whines about mean Republicans and conservative media outlets.

What troubles me is the demonization of addiction, of human frailty, using me as its avatar and the devastating consequences it has for the millions struggling with addiction, desperate for a way out and being bombarded by the denigrating and near-constant coverage of me and my addiction on Fox News (more airtime than GOP presidential candidate Ron DeSantis) and in The New York Post (an average of two stories a day over the past year).

Poor Hunter. He’s the victim here, you see. Man, oh man. What an ego this guy has. Narcissism must be a Biden family trait. He really leaned into the victim thing.

The weaponization of my addiction by partisan and craven factions represents a real threat to those desperate to get sober but are afraid of what may await them if they do.

It is not hard to see why: My recent haircut turned into a wild conspiracy to evade drug tests, tabloids steadily splash nude pictures of me on their covers, and even a member of Congress displayed revenge porn of me on national television.

My addiction doesn’t justify Steve Bannon and Guo Wengui posting altered nude photos of me with “editorial creativity over the pictures.” My addiction shouldn’t permit the likes of Rudy Giuliani or a former Peter Navarro aide to debase and dehumanize me for their own gains.

It is already a near-impossible decision for addicts to get sober, and the avalanche of negativity and assault of my personal privacy may only make it harder for those considering it.

In Hunter’s burnt-out brain, the fact that a Congressional oversight committee is exposing him and his family for its corruption is a threat to others who may want to get sober. You can’t make this stuff up.

I don’t wish to make light of addiction. I applaud those who work to overcome addiction. That said, Hunter Biden’s long history of drug and alcohol abuse, and his obsession with hookers and filming his raunchy experiences with them, does not give him a pass for his corrupt money schemes.

There is plenty of “there” there. Any other American with Hunter’s history would be serving time in jail.

For good measure, Hunter did what Joe frequently does – he brought up his deceased brother, Beau.

I am blessed with a family that gave me the support and space to seek sincere redemption – and they too endure this shaming and humiliation of their father, son, brother and uncle. After what I have gone through since my brother died in 2015, and the perpetual public humiliation of me, I am now certain I can survive anything (except a drink or a drug).

C’mon, man.

Grow up already. Hunter is not a victim. He is corrupt and he’s good at it. The real question that the House Republicans are answering is to what extent is Joe Biden involved in the family dealings? How compromised is he? Americans have a right to know.
