Jill Biden is playing the good wife in New York City. She’s fundraising among the rich and fabulous for Joe’s re-election campaign so she can keep living the good life.

The former editor of Vogue magazine, Anna Wintour, hosted a fundraiser dinner in her $12M Manhattan townhouse on Monday night. The guest list included Hillary Clinton’s gal pal, Huma Abedin, as well as Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg. Designers Michael Kors and Tory Burch listened as Wintour slobbered on about Jill Biden’s style. No, really. Anna Wintour told the attendees that “she looks fantastic in everything.” Wintour dutifully referred to her as Dr. Biden. Because, of course.

‘First Lady Biden, who is here with us tonight, is a part of what makes President Biden such an important leader in times like this. She’s part of his moral courage,’ Wintour said.

‘Dr. Biden has been called a First Lady for all of us. She has this incredible ability to connect with all Americans from all walks of life, and all political affiliations. She has that smile. She has that light. And she looks fantastic in everything,’ she added.

Really? Many times Jill Biden has worn dresses that could be mistaken for sofa upholstery. The part about Joe Biden’s moral courage was overkill. His trip to Israel was called an act of moral courage. Or, it could be characterized as a part of his re-election campaign. YMMV. Not to mention he urged restraint by Israel in defending herself and pledged millions of dollars in humanitarian aid to Gaza. He didn’t mention the Americans being held hostage in Gaza and he didn’t point to Iran as the financier of the attack by Hamas. Where was the moral courage?

Jill slobbered back to Wintour. She thanked her for their longtime friendship. Wintour put Jill on the cover of Vogue just months into Joe’s term in the White House.

‘You’ve been such a generous friend to me and to Joe,’ she said.

‘And because of you, fashion has become something that’s more than just the clothes we pull out to put on each morning. It’s the vehicle of our own expression, a symbol of our values and our aspirations, a statement of our identity and it’s colorful armor – although I have black on tonight,’ she noted.

This wasn’t an evening to celebrate fashion, though. It was to raise money for Joe’s re-election. Wintour is a big donor and fundraiser for Democrats. If Wintour was soley all about fashion, she would have put Melania Trump on the cover of Vogue. Melania was a model and dresses in haute couture. She’s married to Donald Trump so she was neglected by fashion and women’s magazines for four years. Jill Biden doesn’t come close.

Jill is grateful the Joe is president. We already knew that, though, because her desire for four more years living in the White House overrides common decency. She is the force behind a physically feeble and mentally fading 80-year-old who is running for re-election.

‘I wouldn’t wish the tragic events of the last two weeks on any American president. But I’m so grateful that Joe is our president during these unpredictable times,’ she said.

‘In these moments, with these perils that the world is facing, there is nobody that I would rather have sitting in the Situation Room right now than my husband and he probably is actually there,’ she said as the audience laughed.

It is because her husband is president that parts of the world are on fire. A weak and bumbling president who leads from behind puts us in a very dangerous spot. Biden has a reputation for always being wrong on policy decisions, including foreign policy, though he conned Democrats into believing he was an expert on foreign policy. It’s why Obama picked him as vice president, to provide some foreign policy cred to his presidential ticket. What a disaster.

Jill told the crowd at the conclusion of her speech that she would visit each table and the guests were free to give her messages she could bring back to her husband. Saying she is good with secrets, she only minutes before told the group that Joe Biden was likely in the situation room as she spoke.

It’s Jill’s job to bolster her husband’s ability to govern and lead our country during these dangerous times. However, Joe Biden is a complete disaster as president, even worse than Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama, which I didn’t think was possible. Yet, here we are.
