I watched a 4-minute video this morning that left me speechless. Of all people, the speaker was New York City Mayor Eric Adams, an elected official I usually have nothing but criticism for, but not today.
Mayor Adams addressed a crowd and he spoke about Israel and Hamas and those who demonstrate in support of Hamas in places like New York. His words were strong, poignant, to the point, and I really wish that other elected officials had the capability to deliver the same kind of speech to their fellow Americans at a time like the one we find ourselves in right now.
Take four minutes and listen. You won’t regret it.
This is a powerful 4 minutes and it is worth a watch. https://t.co/1rzlTstofC

“We are not alright.” No more stiff upper lips. “We are not fine.” “Israel has a right to defend itself.” “Hamas must be disbanded and destroyed immediately.”
God bless him. I did not realize the man that I criticize regularly for whining about the migrant buses arriving in his city – his sanctuary city – had this in him. He delivered the speech we have all been waiting for. We haven’t gotten it from anyone else.
I saw this video right after I watched one that had the opposite effect on me. Grifters are gonna grift, of that we can be sure.
Just so we’re clear:@charliekirk11 is implying Bibi Netanyahu purposely let Hamas
murder 1,200 Israelis
behead children
take 100+ people hostage—all as part of a plan to acquire more power in Israel
Unbelievable pic.twitter.com/2M7a7AfrNp

I felt like I needed a shower after watching that one. How despicable. Believe people when they tell you who they are. Why would he say such asinine things? Was it because Trump said Netanyahu let him down so he felt fine with implying Netanyahu knew about the attacks by Hamas in advance? Wow. The radio show host deleted his interview with Kirk. Heh. The internet is forever.
so @MikeCrispiNJ deleted the tweet that included the video with Charlie Kirk. Here is a screenshot of Crispi’s comments and the video he was referencing pic.twitter.com/KlUDnlFw3l

The depth of anti-Semitism in America is truly alarming. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) reports that at least 39 anti-Israel protests were held in the United States on Sunday, the day after the attacks began from Hamas.
The cities in which these protests took place included New York City, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Anaheim. Perhaps the one that received the most attention on social media was the New York City rally, as video showed protesters chanting “from the river to the sea Palestine will be free” and “resistance is justified when people are occupied.” A video showed one of the speakers at the New York City rally saying, “our resistance stormed illegal settlements and paraglided across colonial borders” and that “the resistance fired more than 5,000 rockets,” both of which resulted in cheers and applause from the protesters. Another speaker at the New York City protest said, “The media will tell you that yesterday, ‘terrorists’ invaded Israel. But we know that actually what happened is that the oppressed people of Palestine broke out of the open-air prison.” After they were met by applause, the speakercontinued, “The White House is telling all its mouthpieces to tell us a false story. But we know that the real terrorist is the Israeli state that has been murdering, massacring, separating, displacing, torturing, imprisoning the Palestinian people for over 75 years.”
It’s hard to wrap your head around this kind of hatred and ignorance. It is evil.
It’s important that we call out those who stand with evil. It is important to know where public figures stand at times like this now.
Here is George W. Bush speaking about Israel. His conclusions are right – there is no such thing as blaming both sides.
In a recent interview George W. Bush says, "only one side is guilty and It’s not Israel .
During the interview Bush also admits he does not get the 'intelligence anymore'

I realize that using a Bush video is iffy at this time, given his record in the Middle East. I watched Mike Pence being interviewed by Neil Cavuto on Fox this morning. He pointed to Bush and his administration’s decisions. Pence said he was a member of Congress in 2005 “when the decision was made in the George W. Bush administration to turn over Gaza to Hamas. It is now a nearly 25 year failed experiment.”
Ouch.
