Illinois Governor JB Pritzker does not understand why Governor Abbott only sends migrant buses to blue cities from Texas. It’s a mystery, eh, Governor Pritzker?

On the Sunday morning political show Face the Nation, Pritzker was asked if Chicago will be ready for the Democrat national convention next summer, given all its problems with violence in the streets, crime in general, and the management of illegal aliens coming to Chicago. Pritzker told host Margaret Brennan that he needs federal help and then he said something that showed his utter cluelessness in leading his state.

Who might that “someone” be, governor? Some supreme being that could swoop into Texas and dictate how to handle an invasion of illegal aliens coming into the state each and every day? The only person with that kind of power is the president, so you’re screwed, Governor Pritzker. Joe Biden doesn’t care. The Biden border crisis is his doing. It was his plan from Day One when he took his handy dandy executive pen and undid everything that was being done by the previous administration. The Trump administration had the southern border under control, as much as it can be, and yet Joe Biden was hellbent to prove that a secured border is not humane, or something. So, here we are.

The reason that border community politicians, like the Democrat mayor of El Paso, is sending migrant buses to blue cities is because blue cities asked for them. Blue cities have virtue-signaled that they are sanctuary cities, and blue states like Illinois have done the same. So, in the case of Chicago, a blue city in a blue state, it should be a perfect place for migrant buses to arrive.

Blue cities, aka sanctuary cities, have been quite sanctimonious in declaring that everyone is welcome, regardless of legal status. People in red states who demand that immigration laws be enforced and the borders secured have been called names and accused of extreme behavior. In reality, the taxpayers in Texas are footing the bill to the tune of billions of dollars in order to provide services for the illegal aliens and to secure the Texas border with Mexico. The federal government has stepped in at every turn and tried to shut down Governor Abbott’s efforts.

Pritzker wrote to Biden last week and laid out a list of requests and recommendations on how the Biden administration should handle the Biden border crisis. His main point on Sunday was “we need help from the White House.” Welcome to the party, pal.

“On top of the 15,000 that have arrived in Chicago and Illinois over the last 13 months, we are now seeing busloads [of] more migrants at increasingly higher rates being sent specifically to Chicago each day,” Pritzker wrote in his letter to Mr. Biden.

“Most critically,” Pritzker added, “the federal government’s lack of intervention and coordination at the border has created an untenable situation for Illinois.”

The letter was sent on Monday, one day after Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, another Democrat, held a tense call with top White House officials Jeff Zients and Tom Perez. The governor and mayor implored the officials for additional federal support to accommodate migrants, a person familiar with the conversation told CBS News. Pritzker and Johnson both conveyed to the White House that they felt the administration was not doing enough during the call, which was first reported by CNN earlier Tuesday.

A White House official referred to the call with Pritzker and Johnson as “productive” and said it was part of “ongoing, recurrent engagements” with jurisdictions receiving migrants.

That is what the White House offers – words that they think sound supportive and then nothing happens. Pritzker has not fully realized yet that his friend Joe Biden is deliberately giving away the sovereignty of our country and it starts in Texas. The same is happening in Arizona. To a lesser degree, it is happening in Florida as illegal immigrants arrive on boats in the Florida Keys.

Pritzker wants the White House to put together one office and a department head to specifically coordinate with Illinois leaders as they deal with the situation.

“Because, look, we’re providing shelter as best we can and providing for the needs of these folks arriving in Chicago. And as I say, we’re a welcoming state and we understand the humanitarian crisis that we’re addressing,” Pritzker said. “But we can’t address this all by ourselves, and we need help from the White House.”

Should there be fifty such departments? Pritzker seems unaware that it is the Biden administration and its DHS that is moving illegal aliens out of Texas and into every state and congressional district in the country. This is all by design. This is Biden’s transformation of America, as he promised. DHS sends them to red states, blue states, and purple states. All the states.

Sorry, but I’m fresh out of sympathy for Pritzker and the other Democrats who demonize red state leaders when they object to border communities being overrun by historically high numbers of illegal aliens. Those same Democrats were silent as the Biden border crisis began and rejected pleas for help from border governors, like Governor Abbott and former Arizona Governor Ducey. Red state governors send help via personnel and equipment as they can and it is appreciated. Blue states give border states the back of their hand.

Elections matter. Democrats voted for this mess. As long as they don’t care enough to change their voting patterns and pay attention to what is being said by politicians, nothing will change.
