House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) is holding a hearing today centered around the human toll of the Biden border crisis. Former DHS agent Tim Ballard will testify that the Biden administration’s policies are to blame for child trafficking.

Ballard inspired the blockbuster film “Sound of Freedom.” The human impact of the southern border crisis includes sex trafficking and fentanyl poisonings.

Green said that impeachment of Mayorkas is a very real possibility.

‘Yes, there’s a potential that we could turn this into an inquiry now, and I think it’s the first time I’ve said it in the media actually,’ he said during an exclusive interview.

Green says there are ‘very concerning’ details that will be revealed during Ballard’s testimony Wednesday that will shock the American public and ‘possibly lead’ into an impeachment inquiry.

‘We need to know if Mayorkas understands, you know, if he’s just really as stupid as this appears. Or is this he understands what’s going on and just doesn’t seem to care?’

I think it’s some of both – Mayorkas is not the sharpest tool in the shed. I also think he doesn’t really care about the southern border. Sure, he is following the policy of his boss, President Biden, but if he was opposed to those policies and if he was as horrified as most normal people are about the humanitarian crisis at the border, he would resign. He not only stays in his position but he defends the administration’s work and claims the border is secure.

Wow. Some model you’ve got there, Secretary Mayorkas. He said that on CNN because they don’ t push back. CNN is all about protecting Joe Biden and ignoring the damage he is doing to our country. He lies with impunity because he can.

Illegal aliens know they will be released into the country.

The porous southern border is responsible for the child sex slavery crisis at the border. Ballard said that the Biden administration has lost track of more than 85,000 unaccompanied minors over the last several years. He was a special agent for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for over ten years.

Ballard said that the children are easy prey for traffickers and the crisis is being ignored by the Biden administration. He said that Mayorkas should face an investigation by Congress.

‘Yes, I would absolutely support an impeachment inquiry into Mayorkas,’ Ballard told DailyMail.com ahead of the hearing Wednesday, because children’s lives are ‘being destroyed.’

‘They’re being kidnapped, they’re being trafficked, they’re being raped,’ he continued.

‘So if we have a secretary who’s completely ignoring the those facts, and ignoring the plight of those children, then absolutely I would support an impeachment inquiry.’

Honduras President Xiomara Castro wants to meet with Mayorkas, as do officials in Guatemala, but they’ve been ignored, according to Ballard.

The former DHS agent told DailyMail.com that Honduras President Xiomara Castro is trying to meet with Mayorkas regarding the over 3,000 unaccompanied Honduran children that are currently in the U.S. And Guatemala has expressed similar concerns as young children have been smuggled out of the country and into the U.S.

Ballard says he hopes that Mayorkas will allow him to join the meeting at the border with Castro.

He added that the border was never ‘politicized’ until the Biden administration, and DHS agents are suffering from low morale and higher suicide rates because they’re ‘not being allowed to do their job.’

‘If you imagine a U.S. law enforcement officer, who has dedicated their life to rescuing children, is now being ordered to participate in what they know will be the final leg of the child’s trafficking journey – that would that would put anyone with a law enforcement heart in despair.’

“Sound of Freedom” is forcing a conversation, though it wasn’t made as a statement about border policy. It came out at the right time to shine a spotlight on the border crisis.

‘I think the testimony and the questioning of Mr. Ballard is going to be very insightful for everyone,’ continued Green.

Other witnesses at Wednesday’s hearing include Sandy Snodgrass, who lost her son Bruce to fentanyl poisoning in 2021. Mayra Cantu, wife of border patrol agent Gary Cantu, will also testify on the ‘consequences’ of the border crisis.

Mayorkas should be held accountable for the Biden border crisis, as should Biden. However, the impeachment of Mayorkas is no more likely to happen than the impeachment of Joe Biden. Democrats control the Senate, where impeachment trials are held. They will protect Mayorkas, as they will protect Biden, when all is said and done. The Biden border crisis is intentional. It is evil. Joe Biden doesn’t care.
