Her husband is trying not to talk about Trump’s indictments but Jill Biden is yammering away. She has officially begun her role as fundraiser for Joe Biden’s re-election campaign and will be touring the country.
She’s starting out on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, which seems appropriate now that the Democrat Party is the party of the wealthy and elites. Speaking to a small group of Democrat donors in an apartment, she said she was surprised to see a headline before her flight landed that said a majority of Republicans still plan to vote for Trump, even as he prepared to appear in a court in Miami on Tuesday.
“They don’t care about the indictment. So that’s a little shocking, I think,” she said.
Jill told the donors that the 2024 presidential election presents a choice – a choice between the “strong, steady leadership” of her husband or the “chaos and corruption, hatred and division” of “MAGA Republicans.” WOW! I sure hope she continues with that line of attack because it’s a beauty. The matriarch of the Biden crime family is calling the former president corrupt. As if that isn’t tone-deaf enough, she calls “MAGA Republicans” out for “hatred and division.” Are you kidding me?
Joe Biden promised to heal the nation, to bring everyone together, when he was elected. Since then, he has done little else but divide the country in order to get his agenda rammed through Congress, mostly on party line votes. Biden attacks those who disagree with his march to full-on socialism in government spending as racist or phobic of some kind. He belittles Trump supporters and frequently likes to say the Republican Party is “not your father’s Republican Party any more.” I’m old enough to know that the Democrat Party – the one of JFK – is no longer the Democrat Party of the past, either.
Jill is all doom and gloom about Trump. She told the Manhattan elite that “We cannot go back to those dark days” as she referred to the Trump administration.
She’s begun a three-day trip in New York City and will head to California tonight. There are events scheduled in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Most of her time will be spent raising money at four political events, two in the Bay Area that will benefit Biden’s campaign, the DNC, and the Democrat state party committees.
In the AP’s article on her entry into fundraising for the campaign, I found it amusing that it says “helping him win a second term is a top priority for the first lady.” That’s an understatement. She’s as obsessed with living in the White House as he is. She’s only been back from a six-day trip abroad for a couple of days. It’s been long enough to host the biggest LGBTQ bash at the White House ever, including trans guests who stripped done and fondled their boobs for cameras. I’d leave the White House after that disgrace, too. Jill seems determined to get as much traveling in as possible now. She usually brings along a grown granddaughter or two but no word of that this time.
Biden will also join Gabrielle Giffords at a separate event in Los Angeles to mark 30 years of anti-gun violence work by the Giffords Law Center, a nonprofit led by the former congresswoman. Giffords was shot in the head in 2011 during a constituent event in her Arizona district.
As she was in 2020 and the 2022 campaigns, Jill Biden will be active in the 2024 election cycle, helping the Democratic Party build up its resources and infrastructure while reminding supporters of what’s at stake.
That message was stark Monday, when she urged donors to “think about where we were three years ago.”
She is busy reminding donors that she is a community college English professor and she refers to her husband as Joe. She’s just like everyone else, you know. She’s living the most privileged life possible in America. She’s out of Washington just in time to avoid all the publicity that the press isn’t doing over her corrupt husband and son. No one will ask her about the $5M bribes her family receives from questionable foreigners or how those documents from Joe’s time as a senator and vice president ended up in several different locations, including the family garage.
She reminded the donors about the time Trump spent in office.
“We know what’s in store with the MAGA Republicans. We just know it, right? We know because we’ve lived it. We’ve seen it,” she said. “We know what it’s like to see U.S. policy tweeted out in late-night tweet-storms.”
She did not name Trump but referred to his habits of blasting off posts on Twitter that announced policies, insulted foreign leaders and nations and even fired staffers.
She’s happy instead that we are back to the status quo of foreign leaders insulting the American president instead of the other way around. They certainly are having a good laugh about the dazed and confused old man that is president now. And, the bad guys do not fear him at all, as Putin’s invasion into Ukraine proved and Xi constantly jabbing Biden with spy balloons over the United States and establishing a spy base in Cuba. Strong, steady leadership indeed, Jill. I hope she doesn’t call donors breakfast tacos in California. That’s so awkward when her own racism comes out.
I find it shocking that the elite come out to raise money for a bumbling old man in the White House who only has a 39% approval rating and the majority of his own party don’t want him to run again.
