Trump and his supporters have been vindicated. Special Counsel John Durham finally released his long-awaited report. Everything he investigated as it pertained to Crossfire Hurricane was a lie. It was all false. It was the ultimate dirty trick in politics. Hillary Clinton’s campaign came up with a plan to pin Russian collusion on Donald Trump in order to keep him from becoming president. Then the FBI and the intel community went along with it, as did most of the media. Everyone who did not want Donald Trump to win the 2016 election jumped on board.

This was disinformation at its most dangerous. Sections of the American government schemed to manipulate an American election so that their preferred candidate won. Barack Obama and Joe Biden knew about it. Will any White House reporter dare to ask Biden about the Durham report? For four years and after millions of taxpayer dollars were wasted, Durham’s report concludes that the Trump-Russia investigation should have never been launched. The 305 page report draws the same conclusion that at least half of the country believed all along.

Trump released a brief statement on Truth Social.

“WOW! After extensive research, Special Counsel John Durham concludes the FBI never should have launched the Trump-Russia Probe! In other words, the American Public was scammed, just as it is being scammed right now by those who don’t want to see GREATNESS for AMERICA!” Trump wrote on Truth Social in his first reaction to the 305-page report.

He’s right. The highest levels of our government conspired to keep him from winning the 2016 election. After his initial reaction on Truth Social, he turned to Fox News to deliver an exclusive brief statement with a promise for more at a later time.

“I, and much more importantly, then American public have been victims of this long-running and treasonous charade started by the Democrats — started by Comey,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “There must be a heavy price to pay for putting our country through this.”

In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Trump said the activities surrounding the FBI’s original Trump-Russia investigation were “a total disgrace,” and said “public anger over this report is at a level that I have not seen before.”

“This report took a long time because John Durham is a very thorough investigator,” Trump said. “But the result is unequivocal and an absolute disaster in terms of justice.”

Trump added that “the national security implications of what they did are very grave.”

“It turned out to be a giant and very dangerous hoax,” he said, adding that he would have “further comment in the near future.”

It wasn’t just Trump whose life Team Hillary and government officials involved in her scheme poisoned, it was others in Trump’s inner circle. What about people like George Papadopoulos? Where does he go to get back his pre-Russian collusion reputation? He was a Trump campaign adviser. He and others had to hire lawyers and go to testify before Congress, defending himself against what they all knew were bogus charges.

Think of slimy Rep. Adam Schiff who regularly went before television cameras and lied to anyone who would listen – especially the likes of Chuck Todd and other hosts of the Sunday morning political shows. This time we have him, Schiff would lie and the television hosts would lap it up. Now Schiff hopes to elevate himself to a Senate seat in 2024.

That’s the thing. None of the people involved will be punished for what they did. Most have received handsome book deals and paying gigs with cable television networks. Some are doing podcasts. Are any of them going to lose those contracts now? Don’t hold your breath. Look forward to hearing that this is all a right-wing conspiracy to paint Hillary as the corrupt, lying scum she is. The James Comeys and the Peter Strzoks and the Andrew McCabes of this story will skate. They’ve made their big bucks by cashing on trying to manipulate the outcome of an election while crying about how Trump was destroying democracy. There is evil in the world. Some of it resides in Washington, D.C.

Durham’s report does not recommend changes in the FBI since recent changes have been made. Too bad their behavior has been so bad that a majority of Americans no longer trust the American intelligence community. It is too politicized.

“The conduct in 2016 and 2017 that Special Counsel Durham examined was the reason that current FBI leadership already implemented dozens of corrective actions, which have now been in place for some time. Had those reforms been in place in 2016, the missteps identified in the report could have been prevented,” the FBI said. “This report reinforces the importance of ensuring the FBI continues to do its work with the rigor, objectivity, and professionalism the American people deserve and rightly expect.”

I knew the whole Russia collusion story was malarkey after reading “Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign” written by two reporters who covered her campaign. They admitted it was Hillary’s campaign who came up with the plan. That little tidbit never really drew much attention because journalists were in on the scheme. They were happy to ignore such inconvenient truths in order to protect their candidate, their precious Hillary who was supposed to be the first female president.

Democrats keep showing us who they are. It was a Democrat activist that started the fabricated story of the Border Patrol unit on horseback accused of whipping Haitian migrants as they illegally crossed the Rio Grande River. Whipgate was a lie, too. It ruined the lives of those agents falsely accused of cruelty.

Trump said there must be a heavy price to pay. Unfortunately, that won’t happen. He can use it on the campaign trail but that is all the satisfaction he can count on.
