Pro-Palestinian protesters were at it again this morning in Manhattan, blocking three bridges and one tunnel connecting the island to the rest of New York City and New Jersey.
Hundreds of arrests were made after pro-Palestinian protesters blocked traffic on the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges as well as the Holland Tunnel on Monday morning…
Around 9:30 a.m. Monday, the protesters blocked New Jersey-bound lanes of the Holland Tunnel.
Port Authority police responded and arrested 120 protesters before the tunnel reopened to traffic just after 10:30 a.m.
Here’s what that looked like (top clip) plus video of the arrests that followed as they chanted that the NYPD were the same as the KKK (bottom clip).
There are groups of activists blocking all four outbound paths to the Holland Tunnel. At the main entrance to the tunnel, protesters are now being arrested. A cop just said, to another, “Just get them one by one.” Now the activists are chanting “Let Gaza live!” pic.twitter.com/QiAKgNX9aK

Of course they were chanting “From the river to the sea.”

As always, the protesters are making friends among the commuters.
"This is New York, not Palestine, not Gaza!"

As you can see in this video, protesters locked themselves together inside car wheels filled with cement.

Police eventually cut through these and made arrests.

This list of groups involved is exactly what you’d expect.
Mon Mohapatra, 30, one of the demonstrators at the Brooklyn Bridge, said the organizers on Monday represented various groups, including the Palestinian Youth Movement, Al-Awda: The Palestinian Right to Return Coalition, Democratic Socialists of America, Jewish Voice for Peace and others.
She said the protests were meant to draw a parallel to the situation in Gaza, where residents have been killed even after following orders to evacuate.
In total, 325 people were arrested. They are all facing misdemeanor charges. Now we just have to wait and see if the city with prosecute or give them a pass.
