The next time Chuck Schumer is pining for the chance to grant citizenship to the millions of illegal migrants that Joe Biden has allowed to flood our country, perhaps he should ask himself if that would apply to the "new arrivals" in this story. Not all of the migrants are moving into shelters and hotels, waiting for their taxpayer-funded debit cards. Some of them are getting busy because they came here with plans. Possibly big plans. According to one of our highest-ranking admirals, a huge number of migrants, particularly Chinese and Russian nationals, have been attempting to infiltrate our military bases. We've stopped many of them, with the attempts taking place several times per week, but it's almost certain that some of them have succeeded. (Daily Mail)

National security is being jeopardized by a wave of Chinese and Russian nationals sneaking onto US military bases, a top Navy admiral has warned.

US Fleet Forces Commander Daryl Caudle said that attempted infiltrations are happening 'two or three times a week' at Navy bases alone.

More than 100 attempts were made by Chinese nationals alone last year, with the perpetrators often claiming to be innocent tourists when caught.

'This thing of our military bases getting penetrated by foreign nationals is happening more and more,' Caudle told Fox News.

This is insane. An average of two to three cases per week is not some random bug in the system. Just last year there were more than 100 incidents of military-age Chinese nationals attempting to infiltrate our military bases. These are not tourists. Some national security analysts interviewed about this recently have suggested that these infiltration efforts may be "dry runs" in preparation for a significant terror attack aimed at our military. 

The admiral went on to point out that not all of the intruders entered the country illegally, particularly when it comes to the Chinese. Some of them had passports and identification papers. But that doesn't grant them (or anyone) the right to enter an American military base without permission. What are they doing there? One unnamed Chinese man recently snuck into California's twenty-nine Palms Marine Corps base. He was later discovered and arrested, but not before he had time to get a good look at the place. Military bases are not tourist attractions. Having lived on several, I can assure you that they're not all that fascinating.

Earlier this month, two illegals from Jordan attempted to enter Quantico Marine Corps Base posing as Amazon delivery drivers. They had a box truck that could have been loaded with almost anything. Was that one of those "dry runs" that the admiral is trying to warn us about? As we've seen with too many domestic terror attacks in the past, you really don't need all that much space to pack up a significant amount of explosives and do tremendous damage.

These are the fruits of the Biden border crisis. The majority of the illegals who show up here don't appear to be part of any sort of organized terror efforts, at least for the moment. But at least some of them are, or are acting suspiciously enough that they need to be dealt with. And therein lies the problem. If you have a few hundred illegals coming over the border per month, you stand a decent chance of apprehending most of them and shipping them out. But when you let them in by the millions and grant them sanctuary when they have no valid claim to seek asylum, you immediately begin losing track of a lot of them. Some may simply settle into a shelter and begin sucking up local resources, but we've seen far too many who have hit the road with what appear to be bad intentions. This has to end and it needs to happen quickly.
