If you see enough smoke, sooner or later there’s a good chance that you’re going to come across some fire. Now, James Comer and the House Oversight Committee may have uncovered it. We’ve watched for more than a year as Comer has unearthed one item after another indicating that Joe Biden and his family collected tens of millions of dollars from adversarial nations, with most of the money clearly being laundered through a shady network of shell companies. But Biden’s loyal defenders in the legacy media and the Democratic Party have continued to insist that there was no irrefutable proof. That may have changed yesterday. Comer’s team has uncovered documentation showing a $250,000 payment in 2019 from some of Hunter Biden’s BHR Partners Chinese “clients.” And the beneficiary residence of the recipient was none other than Joe Biden’s Delaware mansion. Hunter Biden received wires that originated in Beijing for more than $250,000 from Chinese business partners during the summer of 2019 — wires that listed the Delaware home of Joe Biden as the beneficiary address for the funds, Fox News Digital has learned from a congressional committee.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., has been investigating the Biden family business dealings and President Biden’s alleged involvement in those ventures.

As part of the investigation, Comer subpoenaed financial records related to a specific bank account and received records of two wires originating from Beijing and linked to BHR Partners.

The first thing to note about this payment is the timing. Much of the dirt that Comer has uncovered regarding Biden Inc. came from his time as Vice President. The payments seemed to taper off noticeably after he and Barack Obama left office in January of 2017. But this hefty payment showed up in the summer of 2019, making it relatively recent. So what was happening at that point? Well, for one thing, Biden officially announced his candidacy for the presidency in a video that was released in April of that year. He was immediately viewed as a leading contender for the nomination, which he would eventually capture. Were some of Hunter’s old business partners seeing an opportunity for the influence-peddling business to reopen?

The wire transfers were tied to BHR Partners, a joint venture between Hunter’s Rosemont Seneca Group and a Chinese investment firm called Bohai Capital. And despite Hunter’s name being on the masthead, the recipient address was listed as Joe Biden’s home. Where was Hunter Biden living at the time? He has admitted to living at Joe’s Delaware mansion “at times” between 2017 and 2019. We also know from the Laptop From Hell that Rosemont Seneca was responsible for paying most of Joe Biden’s bills (much to the angst of Hunter), but would Hunter have been receiving cash payments from foreign interests at that address?

There are still questions to be answered as to who designated the “beneficiary address” on the two payments that summer of $10,000 and $250,000. Fox News Digital reports that beneficiary addresses are “either the address listed to the recipient account or listed by the individual sending the wire.” Joe Biden wasn’t the named recipient because the payment was directed to “Robert Hunter Biden.” But someone associated with BHR Partners, either Ms. Wang Xin or Li Xiang Sheng, clearly knew Joe’s home address.

This once again raises the same obvious question we’ve been asking throughout this investigation. What did Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, or anyone else do to earn a handsome payment of a quarter million dollars from Hunter’s Chinese business partners while Joe was already campaigning to be the President? Comey has subpoenaed numerous bank records from multiple banks and he has reportedly been hitting paydirt, of which these payments are only one example. Back in 2020, on one of the rare occasions when a reporter actually asked Joe Biden about any of this, he flatly stated, “My family never received money from China.” Now Comer has the receipts (literally) showing that to be a blatant lie. How many more lies will be required before the legacy media begins reporting on this story in earnest? They should be asking questions about all of the Bidens’ tax records, not just Hunter’s. Were taxes paid on that quarter million by anyone? The statute of limitations shouldn’t have expired on that payment yet. And yet the silence of the majority of the media is deafening.
