Devon Archer: Joe Biden was deeply involved

As promised, Hunter Biden’s former business partner at Rosemont Seneca, Devon Archer, showed up to offer closed-door testimony to the House Oversight Committee and he had plenty to say. According to James Comer, Archer identified President Joe Biden as “the brand” back when he was Vice President, and Hunter Biden sold “the brand” around the world. He told the committee about at least twenty business meetings he and Hunter held with foreign entities where The Big Guy was either on the phone or there in person. He also testified about various “favors” that these clients wanted and received from Joe Biden in exchange for paying off Hunter and company. And the list of “clients” continues to grow. Then-vice president Joe Biden joined Hunter Biden’s business meetings via phone or in person at least 20 times and was sold by his son as “the brand” in overseas business dealings, the younger Biden’s business associate told the House Oversight Committee in closed-door testimony on Monday.

House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer said in a statement Monday that testimony from Devon Archer “confirms Joe Biden lied to the American people when he said he had no knowledge about his son’s business dealings and was not involved.”

Archer worked with Hunter Biden on the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings beginning in 2014. The pair went on to found the investment firm Rosemont Seneca together, where Archer served as managing director.

Archer’s involvement with and memories of the Burisma deal in Ukraine back up everything we’ve been hearing so far. Burisma was facing problems including allegations of fraud and shady deals with the Ukrainian government. Burisma’s board specifically asked Hunter to “call Washington” to have Viktor Shokin, the Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating them, removed. The Big Guy was called in and as he would later famously admit on television, “son of a b****,” the prosecutor was fired.

Archer was involved with more than just Hunter’s Ukrainian deals. He testified about Joe Biden’s involvement in their dealings with a French energy company as well as Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR in China. And all of the people involved ended up funneling money back to the Bidens through a series of LLCs, sometimes in the millions of dollars.

At a bare minimum, these activities should have required both Archer and Hunter Biden to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. There are records of suspicious banking transactions available to back up all of these allegations. People have gone to jail for violating FARA rules. But it’s becoming increasingly obvious that these were far more than procedural crimes limited to Hunter Biden. How can you describe these transactions as anything other than bribery? And will we be finding out if The Big Guy ever paid taxes on all of that money? His son clearly didn’t.

Since the testimony wasn’t televised, Committee Chair James Comer released a statement following Archer’s appearance.

“Why did Joe Biden lie to the American people about his family’s business dealings and his involvement? It begs the question what else he is hiding from the American people. The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability will continue to follow the Bidens’ money trail and interview witnesses to determine whether foreign actors targeted the Bidens, President Biden is compromised and corrupt, and our national security is threatened.”

The plot continues to thicken and the legacy media continues to almost entirely ignore Joe Biden’s alleged role in all of this, despite the growing mountains of evidence. They’re finally willing to talk about Hunter Biden, though only after he offered a plea deal admitting to his crimes. (The deal was later withdrawn.) But sooner or later the actions of The Big Guy will be too obvious to ignore. The coming impeachment inquiry should turn up even more material. Stay tuned.
