Normally, when we hear stories about dead people voting they’re coming from Chicago. But the zombie voters are apparently on the march in the Big Apple this month. As the New York Post reveals, confirmed incidents of ballots being cast in the name of deceased voters have already come to light this week. The New York City Board of Elections has recorded the receipt of multiple people who are no longer alive but somehow managed to not only request a mail-in ballot but filled them out and sent them in.

Ballots have been mailed in to the New York City Board of Elections in the name of dead voters, The Post has learned.

Records show that the elections board received an absentee ballot from a Frances Reckhow of Staten Island, a registered Democrat.

The BOE mailed an absentee ballot requested by Frances M. Reckhow of Bedell Avenue on Sept. 24.

Reckhow supposedly mailed the ballot back on Oct. 6 and the BOE received it and declared it valid on Oct. 8, tracking records show.

Ms. Reckhow must certainly be spry to take her civic duties so seriously considering that she was born in July of 1915. Adding to the amazing nature of the feat is the fact that she died in 2012. And just to show that this is a bipartisan issue, Frances Reckhow was a registered Democrat, but the person currently registered at her address is her daughter, Carol Huben, who is a registered Republican. Ms. Huben was unavailable for comment, but the Board of Elections is investigating the matter.

Ms. Reckhow wasn’t alone on her march from the graveyard. A request for a mail-in ballot was received in September for Gertrude Nizzere of Brooklyn, another registered Democrat. The ballot was returned to the BOE on October 13th. Sadly for the Nizzere family, Gertrude shuffled off this mortal coil in 2016 and is buried in Calverton cemetery.

Here’s the kicker to this story. Both of those ballots were certified as valid and accepted by the Board of Elections after they arrived in the mail. We only know about these because the Staten Island Republican Party has been auditing and scrutinizing all of the mail-in ballots received in the 11th Congressional District where there’s a neck-and-neck race going on between Democratic Congressman Max Rose and Republican Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis. While the ballots of the deceased aren’t going to flip New York State over to Donald Trump, a relatively small number of them could upend the race for that congressional seat.

The GOP is only vetting mail-in ballots in that one district. If two of these deceased voters were able to vote in that race (that we know of), how many others made it through? Weren’t we assured that the various boards of elections around the country were monitoring all of this and had checks in place to stop that from happening? We already had another person charged with voter Fraud on Long Island after he requested a ballot for his dead mother.

Keep this in mind when you see the social media giants on the prowl today, flagging any comments from people about the dangers of mail-in voting. Don’t fall for the hype. It’s already happening.
