Sunday morning Talking heads

Most of today’s cable news roundtables will be focusing on the 2020 presidential race. Nevermind the entire foreign policy mess going on. Let’s get to the parade of dozens of Democrats hoping to unseat Trump.

On NBC’s “Meet the Press” we’ll have Senator. Bernie Sanders, (I-Socialist). Bernie has been slipping in the polls recently, falling well behind Joe Biden. Which new leftist policy will he push this week? Perhaps tearing down the Jefferson Memorial?

On ABC’s “This Week” we’ll see some of the folks down in the one percent range. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) and Seth Moulton (D-Mass) will be joined by John Hickenlooper of Colorado. None of them are gaining any traction thus far, so perhaps they’ll toss out some red meat.

CNN’s “State of the Union” with Jake Tapper has something a bit different. Senator Mitt Romney will come on to trash Trump and show how independent he is. Jake will also have Governor Steve Bullock of Montana to explain why he’s running. (I have no prediction for that one.) Jake will also talk to Representative Pramila Jayapal of Washington.

Finally on CBS’ “Face the Nation” Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan will address some border security issues. Also on the show, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York will explain why she’s still below one percent in the polls. Oh, and Adam Schiff will stop by to talk about why Trump needs to be impeached.

Fox News Sunday will feature Amy Klobuchar and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania.
