Video: Hickenlooper finds "certain resentment" to deplorable nanny state mayor's money

Following the recall of two of Colorado’s elected officials who decided to jump on the gun grabbing bandwagon, plus the rather logic defying festival of excuses which followed, Governor John Hickenlooper finds himself with a lot on his mind. If it could happen to them, is his own seat safe? The Governor showed up on the morning shows and talked to CNN’s Candy Crowley for some first class dance maneuvers and a distinct sense of distance from Michael Bloomberg and his Mayors Against Illegal Guns group. “Colorado, like a lot of western states, we’re very self-determined: we like to solve our own problems with our own people,” Hickenlooper said on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday morning. “Outside money coming in is generally not welcomed by middle-of-the-road voters who help decide these things.”

He added that there is a “certain resentment” by Coloradans to outside money coming in from Bloomberg and his Mayors Against Illegal Guns group, as well the National Rifle Association.

Let’s just go to the video. Do you think he’s got a shot at next season’s Dancing With the Stars if this whole governor thing doesn’t work out?
