Just like that nagging cold sore on your lip that won't go away no matter what you try, Rosie O'Donnell continues to update us on all things Rosie.
Ellen Degeneres at least followed through on her promise to flee the country by relocating to the British countryside, but Rosie seems to have staying power on social media the way Keith Richards seems to have in rock music.
The former actress, former TV daytime host, former sane person took to the intertubes last Friday to announce that she may in fact have the oral strain of Herpes.
While Rosie's potential STD is an outward manifestation of a disease suffered by a Democrat, there are many more people on the political left that are suffering chronic conditions that seem to be worsening since the election on November 5th.
Rita Panahi on Sky News Australia encapsulated a top five list of left-wing meltdowns just from the last week, and that's not even the most current examples to bring you.
Even after a week of international mockery in reaction to the donor video call Kamala Harris turned in, complete with the drunk hiccup in the middle of it, Harris has made yet another public appearance. It is her, checks notes, second in the last five weeks since the election, a much more acceptable occurrence rate than was featured during the presidential campaign. The Vice-President, yes, she still technically is the Vice-President, was the keynoter at the National Black Conference of State Legislators in Washington, D.C., and it didn't take long before that patented lack of self-awareness emanated forth.
Ah, yes, the woman who oversaw the burning through $1.5 billion dollars and winding up her campaign an additional $20 million in debt, including another Democratic SuperPAC reportedly $50 million in the hole after the 2024 cycle, this is exactly who Democrats ought to be listening to in determining how to manage scarce resources.
Tim Walz, Harris' number two in every possible definition of the word, is now back in Minnesota and granted a series of interviews for the first time since discovering that America doesn't refer to him as Dad. On WCCO with Caroline Cummins, Walz dropped this nugget for the ages.
He's got to spend time understanding and learning more about America, because for the life of him, he cannot believe they chose Trump's vision for the future over Harris and Walz'. Tim Walz is 60 years old. Take an accumulated year away for the 30-plus times he visited China, and that's 59 years Tim Walz has been allegedly studying up and learning about America, and he still doesn't have a good understanding. Truthfully, he may have spent more or less than a year in China. No one really knows, because Tim Walz has changed his story about his time in the CCP about as often as the weather changes in the Gopher State. But Tim's bottom line here is the reason he and Kamala lost is America's fault, not theirs. As with many other maladies and diseases, if one doesn't admit they have a problem, they're not going to get better anytime soon.
Joe Biden, who after last week I'll never be able to think or write about without this image in my head I cannot unsee,

...was at the White House to recognize this year's edition of the Kennedy Center Honorees. He called on Robert DeNiro.
Think DeNiro is going to be a thing in movies again? Is he still a box office draw? Probably not. Maybe the President can issue a preemptive pardon to DeNiro to absolve him from this crime against sanity.
Speaking of pardons, the left continues to tie themselves in rhetorical knots after Joe Biden's unprecedented, yet totally predictable move to keep his son, Hunter, from facing further legal liability and/or jail time for an 11-year odyssey of vice and grift that would make Caligula blush. The concept of preemptive pardons, which would have been laughed at before the Hunter action, is now being justified as a prudent course of action for the next 42 days. Here's former Solicitor General Neal Katyal.
Following along in this train of thought is Andrew Weissmann, the former lead prosecutor for Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
These two don't have to run for political office, so they can try to sell the idea that pardons like the one Hunter got are a good thing because of what they perceive will happen with Trump returning to the White House as president.
Dick Durbin, long-time Senator from Illinois, who at least purportedly still wants to be re-elected, put on his dancing shoes and showed off his best moves on CNN's State of the Union Sunday with Jake Tapper. Tapper was grilling Durbin about the Hunter pardon, especially after the White House promised a dozen times it would never happen, and the senior senator from the Land of Lincoln pivoted to the Kamala Harris defense.
Did Joe Biden lie repeatedly about the pardon? I've known Joe Biden a long time, and he was born into a middle-class family. Durbin can't and won't answer the question honestly, has nothing positive to offer as an alternative, so he offers up a clone of the Harris interview strategy that cost her all seven swing states. If Durbin's interview could be distilled into a song, it would be 1974's Nothing From Nothing by Billy Preston. Nothing from nothing is nothing.
Finally, Jake Sullivan, the outgoing National Security Advisor, was in Southern California at the Reagan National Defense Forum. With all the fast-breaking news out of Syria, Bashar al-Assad finally fleeing the country after a multi-generational stranglehold on Damascus for over half a century, Sullivan offered up this analysis.
Jake Sullivan now boasts that Israel is stronger and Iran is weaker as a result of Biden’s foreign policy.

This is true, except for that Israel is stronger and Iran is weaker as a result of Israel ignoring Biden’s foreign policy. pic.twitter.com/Fqo8K4Tuvd
If delusion could be measured in people, Sullivan would be China. The Biden administration's foreign policy has been the most hostile to Israel since its creation as a nation state in 1948, and the friendliest to Iran since the fall of the Shah in 1979. Israel's actions this year in the Middle East happened in spite of the White House's warnings not to engage, not with their blessing. And the resulting collapse of the Iranian crescent across the Mediterranean is exactly the opposite outcome Team Biden envisioned. To now claim credit for recent developments is the ultimate in chutzpah.
Whatever contagion afflicts the differing wings of the modern day Democratic Party, the good news is there is only a month and change until they will be in political isolation. The damage they can do, the possibility of their lunacy spreading will be contained for at least the next couple of years.
Democrats are a lot less dangerous out of power, but even during this transition period, with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris still theoretically running the country but doing so while being the lamest of all ducks, the holidays are bringing relief and hope for the future on the political front to go along with the hope for the future we have in the birth of Christ we celebrate this month.
And as for Rosie O'Donnell, I suggest we all take Cousin Eddie's approach out of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
