It’s been a slow day, so let’s round it out with a couple of fun videos from Jammie Wearing Fools and Campus Reform, respectively — although, when I say “fun,” I actually mean something more along the lines of intellectually horrifying more than anything else. I always have to fiercely remind myself that, while perhaps instructive in the demonstrating the orders of magnitude on the human scale of incomprehensible ignorance, these videos are obviously edited from a tiny pool of samples gathered in about as unscientific a manner as it gets. If that somehow wasn’t the case… I just don’t know what I would do with myself, friends.

First: What do random New York City residents think about the IRS’s targeting of conservative political groups? Well, if they think about it at all…

And secondly, this one is at least a little more comforting, given that we get to see an approximately equal number of young people who would rather prevent the government from spying on a news organization sans due process rather than the number of young people that would willingly allow the government a blanket authorization to… wait a minute. No. Not comforting. I take it all back.
