Arabella: The Far-Left Billionaires' Network That Vows to Fundamentally Transform America

It sounds like an organization from a James Bond film, like SPECTRE or SMERSH. Unlike Ian Fleming's creations, Arabella Advisors actually exists, and it also seeks to remake America in a Marxist image, according to a new book by Scott Walter. ARABELLA: The Dark Money Network of Leftist Billionaires Secretly Transforming America reveals how America's wealthiest progressives use dark-money networking to fundamentally transform American politics.

If you haven't heard of Arabella Advisors, don't be surprised. Most media outlets have ignored it and its implications for political manipulation by the One Percenters over which progressives love to hyperventilate. Just in the 2020 election cycle alone, Arabella controlled $2.4 billion in dark money — more than the RNC and DNC raised combined.

How did it use all those funds? I spoke to author Scott Walter a few days ago about how all that money has manipulated the media and electoral politics. You don't hear about Arabella itself, Walter tells me, because that would draw attention to the billionaire elites funding it: Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Pierre Omidyar, and more. It operates through "storefronts" on each of the many issues it seeks to influence, with names that sound far more benign than their purpose.

Walter, a veteran of Washington, DC, policy and philanthropy circles, explained how the book lays out Arabella's reach as well as its ambitions. In the lightly edited partial transcript below, Walter explains who Arabella is, and gives us a taste of how it operates through these "storefront" operations. We also talk about Walter's website Influence Watch, and how it can be a valuable tool to see who's behind some of the left's campaigns.

Q: How much did Arabella spend in the 2020 presidential cycle?

A: Well, the nonprofits took in during the 2020 cycle, so that's two years, $2.4 billion. And in case you're wondering for reference, that is more than the DNC plus the RNC and then add a billion, okay? Now in 2022, you would think that's an off year, right? So they have to maybe come down a little bit. Wrong. $3 billion for the 22 cycle. That's more than the DNC, the RNC, the Republican Senate and House Committee, the Democrat Senate and House Committee. Roll all those together, you still gotta add half a billion to get to Arabella's revenues.

Q: Who are the people who are funding, who are the part of the mechanism here of Arabella at the top?

A: Bill Gates is actually one of the biggest funders. Zuckerberg, giving him tens of millions of dollars. Pierre Omidyar, the eBay billionaire who also is the number one Never Trump funder, he's given millions. The Ford Foundation and a whole bunch of other really bad left-wing foundations. In fact, many of the left's worst billionaires all have the same last name: Foundation.

So one more that deserves extra special attention. Hans-Jörg Wyss. ... He is a Swiss billionaire. He is not a U.S. Citizen, doesn't even have a green card. Therefore, of course, by law is absolutely forbidden to be meddling in our politics. But he has been one of their biggest donors, and as best we can tell, was their original sugar daddy as they were getting off the ground in the aughts[.]

Q: Some of the other foundations can do this stuff. So why don't they just do it on their own? Why do they need Arabella?

A: ... They like complexity because it makes it harder for somebody like me to explain what's going on, right? Like the Soros, for instance, Soros has all these different, he has more entities than he needs that are his core groups. He has multiple foundations. You don't need more than one foundation, right? I mean, he has multiple this, that, and the other things. And on top of that, every five or 10 years, they change their name a bit.

So again, it makes it harder for somebody like me to trace the money. And then when I have to explain to you, well, the money came from this group, but then it was renamed this, and it also came from that, and then it went through this, right? Normal human beings' eyes glaze over, and my ability to expose them and to make them get in trouble for what they're doing, all these things help to lessen that.

Q: So let's talk a little bit about what Arabella is advocating for, right? Is this just policy? ... Or is this something else? Is there a larger purpose behind what Arabella is doing?

A: Well, first of all, the short answer to what it's doing is everything. ... Guess who first stuck into the public debate some embarrassing medical records of Sotomayor's? Something called Fix the Court. Guess what spawned Fix the Court? Arabella. ... Before even before the Sotomayor, of course, there was the forcing of Stephen Breyer off the court. Well, that was done by another Arabella SCOTUS-related entity called Demand Justice, also created by Arabella. Now they're pushing the court packing and the court shrinking, right? Because when you smear the court and say they have to recuse, you can shrink it since sadly, you know, this is the problem for the left, right? The overwhelming majority of Americans does not want a hard left agenda.

Walter and I have much more discussion in the podcast below, and of course the book ARABELLA: The Dark Money Network of Leftist Billionaires Secretly Transforming America goes into far more detail. But you may ask yourselves why we haven't heard more about Arabella before now. And the answer is that the Protection Racket Media doesn't want Americans to know just how organized and well-funded the billionaire progressives in Big Tech are, and the true scope of their ambitions to — in the words of Barack Obama — fundamentally transform America.

The only way to get this information into the public square these days is to have independent media platforms get around Big Tech and the mainstream media. Unfortunately, Big Tech and their partners in the Swamp can interfere with reporting on their clandestine political efforts like Arabella by demonetizing articles that discuss this or challenge their grip on power and control of information on any topic they choose. And they choose to do so often, especially on important topics like COVID, election security, and censorship, either directly by denying access to advertisers or indirectly by calling us "disinformation," "hateful," and whatever other derogatory catch-phrases are hot at the moment on the left.

Many of our readers have joined the fight as part of our VIP and VIP Gold membership, and they have been crucial to our operations as an independent platform and the ability to debate all of the issues honestly. We also produce some great exclusive content for our members to add value to their support, and we'll add more to come as well.

I know we talk about this often, but that's because we see the coming crisis in media more clearly than ever. We hope we can gather as many allies as possible to keep all of these issues in the public square – and indeed to preserve the public square at all.
