Larry O’Connor makes his return to Off the Beaten Path, and what a day to do so! Larry and I cover a lot of ground, much of it historical as we recall our paths through the rise of the blogosphere. Andrew Breitbart’s name comes up and we discuss how prophetic he was and still is. Later, we turn our attention to the Synod on Synodality at the Vatican, and debate what Pope Francis is trying to say with his new ‘openness’ to discussion on blessing non-marriage relationships. We then address the Synod on Dysfunctionality on Capitol Hill, and talk about Larry’s new project at Townhall!
