The Ed Morrissey Show: Senator Jeff Sessions, Kerry Picket, & finding Marizela

Today on The Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we’ll talk with Senator Jeff Sessions, who wants to bring us up to date on budget negotiations and especially on the push for a new CR now that the House version of the FY2011 budget failed to pass in the Senate.  Afterward, we’ll talk with Kerry Picket of the Washington Times about the doings on Capitol Hill and in Wisconsin today.    The Ed Morrissey Show and its dynamic chatroom can be seen on the permanent TEMS page — be sure to join us, and don’t forget to keep up with the debate on my Facebook page, too!

We’ll also discuss the case of Marizela Perez, who has been missing in the Seattle area since Saturday afternoon. Marizela’s case has a connection here at Hot Air, as she is the cousin of the Boss Emeritus, Michelle Malkin. Michelle is trying to spread the word through Facebook and Q13Fox/KCPQ in Seattle.  We want to encourage prayers for Marizela’s family, and also try to reach anyone in the area who knows where Marizela might be and ask them to contact the police.  Michelle also has this entry for today, along with new pictures of Marizela:

Michelle also describes the torment that Marizela’s disappearance has caused the family:

You try to eat, but all you can taste is indigestible fear.

You try to breathe, but all that fills your lungs is stifling uncertainty.

You try to sleep, but all that comes is fathomless fatigue.

Your heart is weighted with grief, but your soul refuses to mourn.

Let’s help bring Marizela home safely to her family and friends.
