Okay, I'm annoyed. 

I get that Trump's opponents hate him. He is an existential threat to some people's grift, he shatters the comfortable illusions many people want to cling to, he has a manner that many find crass, and represents a populism that the educated classes despise. 

But geez man, if you want ot tell us that you hate the guy, you have to up your game a bit. The protests against Trump are lame.

We've seen video after video of bureaucrats crying about having to answer an email--I guess answering emails is too big a hill to climb if you are a federal worker--and ordinary Americans are scratching their heads. Complaints about federal layoffs fall on deaf ears not because people are indifferent to the temporary suffering that these people face, but because nobody in the elite cared a whit when their policies stripped the jobs of ordinary Americans who were told to learn to code.

Democrats, if you want to make headway with the public, you have to do better. Alternating between cringe rallies, poorly attended press conferences, insulting dying teens at the State of the Union Address, and shouting at the president is not going to do the job for you.

He's already broken that promise and he's making life worse for American families.
