Bluesky advertises itself as the X-alternative for the nice, compassionate left. It claims to be less toxic and a place for civil discussion, without all the misinformation that plagues X.
What crap. Bluesky is a leftist sewer in which anybody who deviates from leftist orthodoxy is not only shunned but outright threatened, often with death.
That's not hyperbole, and to demonstrate how awful it is let's discuss the case of Jesse Singal.
For those of you who don't know, Jesse is one of the leaders of the gender-critical movement, focused mainly on saving kids from alphabet ideology and its sick consequences. He holds the "heterodox" view that children should not be sterilized and mutilated--a view that is as toxic in the eyes of the Bluesky crowd as "CEOs should not be randomly shot in the back."

It's not randos on Bluesky who are calling for Singal's death or doxxing him--obviously hoping somebody will carry through on the death threats--but journalists, VPs at companies like Microsoft, and prominent lefties who jumped off of X because they claim it is too toxic.
The claim, as with all such leftist calls to violence, is that holding disapproved views and expressing them is a form of violence and should be suppressed or their holders destroyed.
2/ All the death threats are couched in the idea that *I* pose an imminent threat to the community. That's the line: I'm putting users there at risk. No one can explain how. NBC is at work on an article with that angle, based on the request for comment they sent me.

Jesse is the "enemy" not because he is a conservative, but because he is a heterodox liberal in the mold of J.K. Rowling. He is, in fact, much worse than she because he doesn't just reject Alphabet Ideology but attacks its foundations with research, taking on the bogus claims put forth by those whose religion is sterilizing the children lucky enough to have avoided the abortion mills so loved by the left.

The claim upon which the need for Bluesky to exist is that "X is toxic" and insufficiently moderated to keep out the crazies, but the fact is that leftists fled X because they no longer owned the platform and determined what could be said or read. The attack on Singal comes from the horror that Singal can speak without being shut down.

As my first two posts of the day explored, the core of leftism is totalitarianism, and the preferred means of achieving its goals is violence against dissenters. Leftists hide behind heady proclamations about human rights, kindness, and love for humanity, but at its core is a lust for power and violence and the purging of all dissent from the approved Narrative™.

Leftism, by the way, speaks of protecting the weak and oppressed, but most of its adherents are members of a privileged elite who hope to sucker in the bottom quintile of society to use them as the brownshirt enforcers. As much as leftists talk a big game about the working class, their messaging only appeals to each other and to outcasts who fail to fit into a well-functioning society.

The Pravda media, though, focuses on X as a cesspool of hate and misinformation, despite the fact that it is literally the most ideologically balanced social media platform with an even split between Democrat and Republican users. While Bluesky is filled with violent freaks whose claim to moral superiority is based entirely on their self image, the media celebrates it as a haven for rational discourse in a world filled with hateful disinformation.

Their goal is to become the leaders of the revolution, the ones who control the guillotine and to revel in an orgiastic spasm of violence that wipes away all they hate about civilization.
