Democrats don't lie to convince people of false things; they do it to plant ideas, repeat them again and again, and leave an impression that sticks even if the facts do not. 

Sort of an "if there is smoke, there's fire" strategy. They generate a lot of smoke, and even if people don't believe any one fact, the totality of the accusations stains the conservative. 

They have successfully done this with the "J.D. Vance and the couch" incident, in which the Associated Press planted a false story and retracted it, Democrats picked it up, and now the soon-to-be-nominated Vice Presidential candidate is making jokes about it in rallies. 

They are trying to do the same thing with J.D. Vance's military record because Tim Walz is a chickenhawk veteran, and they are pounding the idea that he is a war hero who served his country while Trump and J.D. Vance are wimpy cowards.

That is an inversion of reality. Tim Walz found out that he was about to be deployed to Iraq and bailed out of the National Guard, and he is even lying about the rank at which he retired. J.D. Vance actually went to war at about the same time as Walz abandoned the troops he was to lead. 

Yet the Democrats are doing this because they want to muddy the waters.

That, my friends, is Minnesota's United States Senator Tina Smith, a radical former Planned Parenthood president and liar extraordinaire. She OBVIOUSLY knows that J.D. Vance served with distinction in a war zone as a Marine, while Tim Walz left the Minnesota National Guard in order to avoid going to the same war zone. 

Not everybody knows the facts about Walz's service yet, but it is impossible to be aware of anything in politics without knowing Vance's record. Veterans know, and from his first campaign his fellow National Guardsmen have been calling him out for his stolen valor. Soon veterans across the country will too.

I'll leave it to Beege to discuss the stolen valor issue, as she was a Marine, and I was a wimpy college professor before I turned into a political hack. 

The point, though, is the brainwashing strategy used by the Democrats and the media-industrial complex, which will soon be deployed to turn Walz into a 10-foot-tall Rambo and Vance into a soy-boy who has an unnatural attraction to couches. 

If you think that is disgusting, dishonest, and dishonorable, you are right. But so are the Democrats. 

Don't believe me? Here is a Bloomberg reporter telling us that Tim Walz served in Iraq. He didn't. He retired to get OUT of going to Iraq. The media-Democrat industrial complex is in brainwashing overdrive. 

Wow, this is wild. (Also OEF was Afghanistan, NOT Iraq.)

Walz should be forced to confirm or deny whether he misled Bloomberg’s @JoshuaGreen, who is still reporting to this day that Walz did a tour in Iraq.

You have to remember one of the key assertions of Critical Theory: words are weapons, and there is no truth. There is only power, and words are deployed to exert and gain power. 

That's it. Every single thing a Critical Theory advocate says is intended to manipulate the listener. There is no truth at all.

Van Jones, for instance, is not a critical theorist, which is why he mostly tells the truth as he sees it or spins the truth in order to look better. That is why I have a soft spot for him. At least we live in the same universe. 

The woke, though, are Critical Theorists, and they live in a world where words are weapons, not means of communication. Example:

What Tina Smith is doing here is planting a seed, and you can be assured that there will be a growing chorus of Democrats casting doubt on Vance's service. They won't deny he served, exactly, but they will call into question his service while pushing Walz as Rambo. Count on it. 

This is the strategy FBI Director Christopher Wray used to call into question Trump's courage the day he was shot. By dropping a hint that he wasn't struck by a bullet, he opened up the denigration of Trump's courage, and Democrats have used that to downplay the assassination attempt. I am sure you have noticed that it rarely comes up in the media anymore.

Keep your eye out for this strategy. It is insidious and often works.
