Where to begin?
With the facts, I suppose. We are talking about Politifact so I guess we should begin with the facts before we jump into the ridicule and brilliant analysis.
The “fact checkers” at Politifact want you to know that the lying conservatives are trying to convince you that Hillary Clinton is a reptile, and that, contrary to your instinct to agree, she is not.
Hillary Clinton is human.

I think we can debate whether Hillary Clinton is fully human–it all depends on whether you consider psychopaths as fully human or not–but I think we can state with confidence that nobody who is likely to read a Politifact “fact check” is also likely to believe that Hillary Clinton is a lizard person.
Given the Venn Diagram between the (nonexistent) people who believe that HRC is a Lizard Person and readers of Politifact, one has to wonder for whom the “fact check” disproving the claim is actually written. Or, for that matter, who the “facts checks” of Babylon Bee jokes done by both Politifact and Snopes are directed.
We all know the answer: these fact checks have nothing to do with “disproving” widely believed “misinformation” that must be squashed before a credulous public gets taken in. They are directed at Liberals who desperately need to believe that anybody who disagrees with them is a poltroon incapable of understanding that CNN did not, in fact, buy an industrial-sized washing machine to spin the news.

Snopes “fact-checked” the Bee’s satire of CNN’s relentlessly spun news, not because anybody literally believed the claim, but because its readers want to believe that conservatives are so stupid that we do.
Leftists need to discredit conservative claims and ideas because if people listen to us, it becomes obvious that the Left is filled with nuts and liars. We are stupid enough to believe that Hillary Clinton is a lizard! We believe the Earth is flat! We even believe that CNN uses a washing machine on news!
Old video of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is circulating online, and some social media users are making cold-blooded claims.
A Dec. 16 Instagram reel shows video clips and photos of Clinton that suggest she is not human, but a reptile.
At one point, the video shows side-by-side photos of Clinton with her mouth open and a snake with its mouth open. In Clinton’s photo, there appears to be a dark spot on her tongue, which the video claims is a glottis, a small opening that “allows reptilians to breathe while swallowing large prey.”
The Instagram post’s caption reads, “Nothing to see here, just another conspiracy.”
The “lizard person” meme is, indeed, a common joke among anti-government types because it emphasizes the idea that our Elites are cold-blooded and don’t see us as deserving of respect or concern. This fact check proves the point, in a way–the jerks at Politifact disdain ordinary people so much that they attribute to us the most appalling ignorance.
The Left’s self-esteem is built not on a record of achievement but on the foundation of disdaining those of us who are so stupid that we believe the earth is flat.
Do you know anybody who believes the earth is flat? Now, think about how many stories you have read in recent years about flat-earthers. None of those stories is about a genuine trend of people believing this absurdity; they exist to paint you and me as stupid enough to do so.

It would be fascinating to see Politifact editors go back through their fact checks done during the COVID era and identify just how many of the claims they disputed turned out to be correct and how many “facts” they asserted turned out to be complete crap. I suspect it would not be very comfortable.
