What a week.
I am old enough to remember when the world’s intelligentsia warned us that if Donald Trump got elected, the US would sleepwalk into World War III.
Well, Donald Trump did get elected in 2016 and here we are in 2023 and the world seems to be sleepwalking into World War III, so maybe the intelligentsia was right…
Or not.
Since Biden entered office the world has turned to crap. It’s hard to think of one thing that has improved, except perhaps that New Zealand threw out the lefties who have been destroying their country. Otherwise, things look pretty grim.
Who could have guessed that withdrawing from Afghanistan would have been a disaster? Or that opening the border would have consequences? Or printing trillions of dollars would cause inflation? Or shipping billions of dollars to Iran would turn out to be a mistake?
On the other hand, I think we can all be comforted by the fact that if Biden gets reelected junk fees on concert tickets might be reduced. So there is that.
