Wokesters and woke institutions often talk about “safe spaces,” and demand that people with whom they disagree be excluded from any place they consider their own.
We hear of “emotional work,” “trauma,” “genocide,” and “fear” that exists because some disfavored person or group exists in mere proximity to the people we joke are “fragile flowers.”

Of course, we know there is nothing fragile about any of these people. It is all a show. To use their own terms, this is about colonizing our culture by driving out everybody else. They want us gone, by whatever means necessary.
That this is the case is demonstrated by a simple fact: colleges and universities are perfectly safe spaces for people demonstrating in support of the most heinous terroristic acts seen in a generation, but utterly unsafe spaces for people like Riley Gaines who merely speaks up for keeping women’s sports and locker rooms safe for women.
It is NOT hyperbole, or even exaggeration, to say that at many colleges you’re on safer ground protesting against Israel after they have been the target of a horrific terrorist attack, than you are protesting against biological men playing sports against women.

John Ziegler is spot on. Academic institutions regularly refuse to host conservative speakers because what they say is “unsafe” or “harmful” speech, and even more regularly host the vilest supporters of violence and even terrorism as long as the hatred is directed at the “right” people.

Pro-life students get harassed and even attacked on campuses regularly, while supporters of Hamas are treated with polite respect. Beheading babies before or after they are born can be celebrated on campuses with impunity, but a person who says that biology determines sex can be assaulted at San Francisco State and have the administration of the university applaud the students who do so.
Riley Gaines’ existence is considered a threat to Leftists, so violence is justified. That is what the Left believes. The same holds true for Israel, so attacking it is justified.

Liberals keep pretending that Social Justice movements are about peace and justice. They are not in the least. All the talk about “safety” and “justice” is a ruse, mere rhetoric. There is no empathy at all, but rather a savage determination to eradicate everybody who isn’t a Leftist.

How many Leftists have Che Guevara posters and T-shirts, or display the raised fist as a symbol to be admired? It’s pretty obvious that these people are evil lovers of violence. Jane Fonda didn’t just protest against the Vietnam War. She gave a photo op of herself manning an anti-aircraft gun used to kill American pilots.
Liberals have ceded most of the cultural institutions to these vicious Leftists, and too few have woken up to what that means. Fewer still are willing to join the rest of us to fight back.
When having to choose between being allied with icky conservatives or open supporters of terrorism–rapists, murderers, beheaders, and kidnappers–they will choose the terrorists.

Wait and see. We will soon be flooded with attacks on Israel for being too harsh in its efforts to eradicate Hamas, a modern-day Nazi-like organization dedicated to the eradication of the Jews.
Can academia be redeemed? I worry that the answer is no. Can the MSM? Probably not. Their commitments are to the destruction of Western culture, and while they may wrinkle their noses a bit when supporting terrorism, they will continue to do so.
Because they share the same goals as the terrorists.
