Trump killed funding for Palestinian-"relief" organizations; Biden reinstated it

It is impossible to overstate just how destructive Joe Biden’s foreign policy decisions have been, and how immeasurably worse they have made the world.

There are too many examples to cite, but given recent events let’s look at just a couple of decisions he made that empowered Iran and Hamas to commit the atrocities this weekend in Israel.

During his administration, Trump shut down the negotiations with Iran and imposed enormous pressure on the country. He turned the screws, making Iran’s life extremely difficult.

Joe Biden reversed that policy, going back to the old Obama-era policy of trying to cozy up to one of the worst and most destabilizing regimes in the world. And, just like Obama, he started funneling cash to and relieving the pressure of sanctions on the country, increasing Iran’s ability to cause trouble in the region.

Smart move, that. Iran helped plan the attacks and train the terrorists who went on a rape and murder spree in Israel.

Trump also shut down US money that flowed to the Palestinians, decisively siding with Israel and brokered a deal that normalized relations between Israel and much of the Arab world. He helped isolate the Palestinians, who have been a thorn in the side of Israel but of all non-Iran aligned Middle Eastern countries.

The Palestinian leadership is corrupt, violent, extreme, and dedicated to the eradication of Israel and all that implies. The rest of the region just wants to get peace and increase prosperity. They are tired of the drama and know that the Palestinians will never make a deal that could stick. So screw ’em.

Biden reversed Trump’s policies there, too, starting the flow of funds to the very people who destabilized the region and who have been attacking Israel in some manner or another for decades.

How stupid can you be?

Joe Biden-level stupid.

The Biden administration has funneled more than $730 million to a United Nations organization for refugee assistance in the West Bank and Gaza Strip that harbored personnel who have incited violence against the Jewish people, The Post has learned.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has been accused in recent years of employing educators who “regularly call to murder Jews” and teach from textbooks “that glorify terrorism, encourage martyrdom, demonize Israelis and incite antisemitism,” according to a March joint report by the non-governmental organization UN Watch and the Israeli non-profit Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education.

The US can’t legally provide money directly to the Palestinian Authority or the terror group Hamas, which last weekend carried out the worst civilian massacre in the state of Israel’s 75-year history.

The State Department has nevertheless provided grants and other funding to organizations in the area, despite experts bemoaning the lack of “guardrails” and internal documents noting “a high risk” that Hamas could benefit from the money dump.

As you would expect, Biden has been funneling money to the very people who are dedicated to destroying America, its allies, and the precarious order of the Middle East.

Peace through weakness. Paying Danegeld never works. It only inspires more terror in the long run.

Barack Obama was famously quoted as saying “Never underestimate the ability of Joe Biden to f*ck things up.” Obama himself had a talent for that–look at health care, Libya, his own Iran policies, and much else–but he was a genius compared to Biden in making policy.

Biden is a menace to America and her allies. Under his leadership, the world is a vastly less peaceful place.

He simply must go.
