NYC opening migrant centers in public school gyms

Well, this is disturbing. If you are a parent of a kid in the NYC school system be prepared to explain “stranger danger” to your kids once again.

Mayor Adams has come up with a solution to housing the influx of Biden migrants, and a lot of parents aren’t so happy about it. Adama has been taking flak already for kicking homeless veterans out of housing in favor of illegal migrants, and now he is taking flak for kicking kids out of their school gyms in favor of creating migrant housing centers on school grounds.

Most of the migrants are young men of unknown provenance, and Adams apparently thinks that housing these men in public schools is a fine idea. Parents, not so much. Not only are kids being denied access to school facilities, but they are put in proximity of large numbers of unknown, unvetted, and largely unmonitored criminal trespassers. We already know they are lawbreakers because…well, that is how they got here.

And they got here by traversing a zone where rape and abuse are rampant, south of the border. Who are these guys? We don’t know. It’s not like the government is doing deep background checks on any of them.

At least six more Big Apple schools are set to start temporarily housing migrants in their gyms, prompting all hell to break loose Monday among parents frantic over safety and potential learning disruptions.

“To bus people to our school and expect the community to absorb them is just insane,” fumed Virginia Vu, a PTA member and parent at Brooklyn’s MS 577 in Williamsburg — adding some parents have already threatened to at least temporarily pull their kids out of the sixth-through-eighth grade school.

“We care about asylum-seekers, and we’re proud our city is a ‘sanctuary city’ — but housing asylum seekers on school grounds is absolutely unacceptable,” she said.

MS 577 shares a gym with PS 17 — one of five Brooklyn elementary schools to soon have asylum-seekers living out of their gymnasiums, too, as New York City struggles to cope with the surging migrant crisis, sources told The Post.

Elementary schools. Young men of whom we know nothing. What could go wrong?

Because the migrants will be housed on school grounds, the schools themselves will be put on lockdown. In order to keep kids separated from the migrants the city will try to keep them segregated by locking the students in the schools–a measure that will undoubtedly fail soon enough, because such measures always fail. Expect the schools to start accumulating police and for stories of insanity to start coming out.

Remember the hotel that was turned into a brothel for migrants a while back?

Prepare for that to be a kid’s school.

Nice.

New Yorkers are, genetically, insane to begin with. But even they, while supporting their city remaining a sanctuary, are fed up with the impositions required by the policy. They want the migrants to come as long as somebody–anybody–else pays the price. At least they still care for their children.

You can see how the propaganda works on these people. Almost nobody is actually fleeing a war; they are coming here because they can, and they can because Joe Biden has decreed that they can, despite the law being very clear that doing so is against American law.

Presidents swear to “faithfully execute the laws,” but that is no barrier to authoritarian diktats these days. As the Durham Report makes clear the federal government and its law enforcement arms exist to impose the will of the Deep State on unwitting citizens, just as the MSM exists to propagandize citizens into believing that such diktats either don’t exist or are necessary.

There is no border crisis, remember? The border is closed.

As are the school gyms in New York City. Maybe. Mayor Adams says it’s not true, although the evidence is there for all to see.

Mayor Eric Adams insisted Tuesday morning that migrants being housed in school gyms is only a possibility — despite photos this week showing beds set up inside several Brooklyn gymnasiums and principals warning their parents about the move.

Adams maintained that the city has not yet become so inundated with migrants that they need to be housed in school gyms, saying those who were photographed in a Brooklyn gymnasium over the weekend were there for only “a few hours.”

About 4,200 migrants arrived in the Big Apple last week, and another 15 buses are expected this weekend.

“We have 20 stand-alone gymnasiums throughout the city that are not part of the school building. They are on the list of potential locations we may have to use,” Adams told PIX 11.

“We’re not there yet, but we need a list to be prepared so that if this influx continues, we can accommodate.”

Adams’ claim of “potential locations” comes after at least 75 migrants were at least temporarily held at PS 188 in Coney Island on Sunday.

Migrants have already been temporarily housed in schools, and more are on the way. Whether the backlash will slow or stop the program has yet to be seen. Perhaps the FBI will merely classify parents who object as domestic terrorists and call it a day.

Our public services are collapsing and the President of the United States laughs about it. The Secretary of Homeland Security assures Americans that what they see on their TVs simply isn’t happening, and the National Guard is sent to the border in order to ensure that the migrants are properly invited in.

Nobody seriously considers what is happening to US citizens. We don’t count.

The media itself is attacking Republicans, either because they haven’t supported Biden, or because they are the real cause of the crisis. They can’t decide exactly which it is, but they know Biden is right and Republicans are wrong.

Meanwhile, America is buckling under the weight of millions of migrants flowing in every year.
