Did you see the blaring headlines about the hearing held by the House COVID Subcommittee yesterday?

The breathless news coverage? The raging debates about the rights and wrongs of COVID policies that devastated America for the past 3 years, and will live with us for decades to come?

No, neither did I. In fact, I looked on Google’s “News” tab and found this:

I tried a bunch of search terms and still nothing. You can find clips on Twitter–from the House committee and the participants. But pretty much nothing else.

The committee hearing wasn’t just Congressmen bleating about their grievances, or defending their ridiculous and damaging policies. The hearing centered around the testimony of the most eminent public health experts in the world, who were among the only ones brave enough to speak the truth during the pandemic.

Ones who were censored. Derided. Canceled.

And pretty much the only ones who were right. They are now calling for a COVID commission not to assign blame–although I want one that will be all about naming and shaming–but to sift through the damage and identify what went wrong, what little went right, and develop policies that will actually prevent disasters in the future.

Sounds like a good start. But it would be the start of a process that almost nobody in government wants to happen. The same goes for the MSM, which, as I noted, is refusing to cover the hearings.

The hearing featured Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Medicine at Stanford University,  Dr. Martin Kulldorff, Ph.D., Professor of Medicine (on leave) from Harvard University, and  Dr. Marty Makary, M.D., M.P.H., Chief, Islet Transplant Surgery Professor of Surgery at Johns Hopkins University.

If you like credentials, these guys have them. Maybe even one or two more than Fauci and Birx, or the random NYT reporter who loves The Science™.

These non-Alex Jones-types warned back in 2020 that the public health establishment was making all the wrong moves, and on every point, they were both: 1) following conventional wisdom developed over decades in public health, and 2) proven right on everything they said because it was so obviously true even before experience proved them out.

As the doctors pointed out, on some of the matters we were lied to about a 4th grader knew better. For instance, the claim that prior infection provides immunity from a virus was known in the 4th century B.C. and is taught in elementary schools because it is established.

By now we are all familiar with at least some of the consequences of the failed policies, but others are only now becoming clear. Millions of Americans are now persuaded–using indisputable evidence–that public health officials lie. As a consequence, they are not only rejecting the lies but everything they are being told as unreliable.

How many will die because they refuse vaccines that actually DO work? Polio? Measles? Mumps? Rubella? Diptheria?

Dr. Makery was asked about the lab leak theory and he was pretty clear about it: if the US government hadn’t been funding the lab through the EcoHealth Alliance then everybody would acknowledge that it was “obvious” that the virus originated there.

Obvious. Because it is. The only reason why anybody questions that is because they need to cover it up. To save their own asses.
