Yes, I know, it’s The View. But cut me some slack. This is my last post of the day, and The View really does matter because it is the #1 rated daytime talk show.

And their viewers do vote. If you want to know why so many women are voting Democrat, catch some clips from The View.

That’s my story and I am sticking to it.

Whoopi Goldberg, a fan of 80 year-old President Biden, joined the Don Lemon crowd in suggesting that Nikki Haley is over the hill and not really fit to be president. She doesn’t QUITE put it as crudely as Lemon, but she gets the point across nonetheless.

Far be if from me to go all sexist and suggest that women are utterly incapable of rational thought; my mother was a physicist and my older sister went to Harvard at 15 and graduated at 18 with a degree in mathematics. Two of the smartest people I have ever known, although neither has ever been especially political.

Come to think of it, that too is a sign of emotional stability and rationality. Hmmm… Neither of them cared a whit about social acceptance, but rather quiet competence and in the case of my sister, genuinely making the world a better place one kind act at a time.

Rather, it seems that women who climb to the top of the social ladder in the Elite get there because they have the mental acuity of gnats, and the emotional maturity of the mean girls you knew in high school. There are exceptions–Hillary Clinton, for all her faults, was not emotionally labile. She is just mean and unpleasant.

Whatever the reason, too many high level Democrat women seem emotionally unstable and logically challenged. How can anybody conclude that a politician who is two generations younger than Joe Biden is past her prime and not representative of a new generation of politician? Every politician since George H W Bush has been a Boomer, while Haley is Gen X. Does Whoopi think AOC is the next in line for the presidency or something?

Are the women of The View just being sexist, in the manner of Don Lemon, who seems to think that the only good women are transwomen? Or are they just so politically blinded that they actually believe that anybody who disagrees with them is mentally unstable?

It’s easy to dismiss the idiocy on display, but it’s a mistake. There is a reason why this show is #1 in its category, and knowing what they say and how they get there actually tells you something about one of the key voting demographics in the country.

The reason the alphabet people are currently winning the culture war is because of the women who watch The View and take political cues from these women who emotionally vomit into the camera.

How many times have you had the thought of liberals: “how can they be this stupid?” The answer is that they think like the people on The View.

So it’s a big mistake to wave this off as irrelevant; it isn’t. Somehow we need to find a way to answer these harridans in a way that penetrates the emotional armor that their viewers have built up.

Until we do, Republicans will continue to lose too many women voters. And we can’t afford to do that any more.
