The New York Times wrote a puff piece about the Balenciaga scandal that explicitly linked criticisms of the fashion house to Q Anon. Only the Times could deny the obvious pedophilia vibes coming from the fashion house, but the Times is enough. Most members of the class that matters–and that doesn’t include you or me–will take their word for it.

There is clearly something to the basic idea that our Elites™–or, I should say some not insubstantial fraction of them–have a weird relationship to pedophilia and ephebophilia, which is the attraction to pubescent minors. These are not the same phenomenon, although they get wrapped up together for obvious reasons. Both are attraction to minors, but an attraction to a 14 year-old developing girl is not the same thing as lusting for a 5 year-old.

There is just way too much evidence to ignore, unless you actively want to close your eyes to a very uncomfortable reality.

The Epstein gang appears to have been tied to ephebophilia as far as I can tell. Epstein made young pubescent girls sexually available to powerful people in exchange for…something, obviously. There were plenty of power, money, and favors to dispense from his clients. While it is not yet clear on how it all flowed from his clients to him, it obviously did. Epstein was a far wealthier man than can be easily explained.

A known example of ephebophilia would be Roman Polanski, who drugged and raped a 13 year-old girl and is still on the run from US justice. Polanski’s case, as I recounted in a previous VIP article (thank you for subscribing) was the case that turned me into a culture warrior. His celebration by his peers and the near-universal calls among the Elite for the end of his “persecution” were too much for me to bear. When the entire Hollywood elite and European political class stand up for a man who raped a teenage girl I couldn’t forgive and forget.

The Balenciaga crowd is more obviously pedophilic–a sexual attraction to or obsession with pre-pubescent children. I believe there are far fewer actual pedophiles who are in or protected by the cultural and political elite, but there certainly is a tolerance for their behavior and celebration of their creative contributions to society. When you look at both the art and the social circle of many in the fashion industry it’s clear that they aren’t even trying to hide it.

Balenciaga was dragged across the internet when the fashion brand released a campaign featuring young girls holding teddy bears wearing bondage gear and standing on top of court papers from a landmark Supreme Court case that focused on child pornography. The brand apologized for the images and pulled the campaign from the internet, but there are many more disturbing revelations of the brand and its long history with content that features child sex abuse and pedophilia. There is even more information coming out showing how depraved Balenciaga’s roots are. It’s parent company, Kering, is run by a man named François-Henri Pinault, who is married to Salma Hayek, and he owns an auction website that sells disgusting “art” of young children in sexual situations.

It was revealed that Balenciaga is associated with various people who seem to have an obsession with art that depicts pedophilia and even cannibalism. Balenciaga stylist Lotta Volkova has posted many photos on her Instagram of children in distressing, sexual, or even violent situations and she’s close friends with Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia, who once told Vice that he and Lotta “grew up on child pornography.”

The plot only thickens when you look at Balenciaga’s parent company, Kering, which also owns Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, and more. Kering’s CEO is billionaire François-Henri Pinault, who owns the famous Christie’s auction house. The website features many different types of art, including a series of art pieces by brothers Jake and Dinos Chapman. This series includes child sex mannequins that are extremely disturbing.

One piece of art, which costs $140,000, is called F*ck Face. It’s a male toddler with an erect penis in place of his nose and an anus in place of his mouth. The piece of art shows the boy walking with a large brown t-shirt on and purple sneakers. Another piece of art with the same title F*ck Face shows an adolescent girl standing completely naked with the same genitalia in place of her nose and mouth. She’s wearing nothing but a pair of black sneakers.

The Elite™ are well aware of all this, and they make excuses when anybody makes a stink. But that stink floats away the minute a breeze blows by.

HOW PERVASIVE?

If we were limited to occasional examples of Elites™ behaving badly it would be wrong to tar the entire crowd with nasty accusations. I am not a fan of guilt by association, even when the associates are people I despise. If I despise or disapprove of somebody then I should be able to say why, not just point to somebody else and smear a person for somebody else’s deeds. That is no different that claiming Ye’s Nazi-loving proves that all conservatives are secret Nazis.

Not cool.

But in this case there are decades of evidence that there is a strong connection between people in positions of power and influence and tolerance for or practice of pedophilia. Roman Polanski’s treatment by the elite is hardly the first example. One of his main defenders was the French Culture Minister Mitterand, who himself wrote of his pedophilic escapades in an autobiography published well before he was appointed to that position and defended Polanski.

“in 2005, Mitterrand had published the book The Bad Life in which he wrote about having sex with male prostitutes in Thailand. In the book, Mitterrand was quoted, “I got into the habit of paying for boys … All these rituals of the market for youths, the slave market excite me enormously. One could judge this abominable spectacle from a moral standpoint but it pleases me beyond the reasonable.” 

That, my friends, was the French Minister of Culture. Not admitting this after his government service was done, but rather before it began.

Mitterand was hardly alone in being open about his pedophilia in France. In fact, being an open pedophile can win you plaudits among the cultural Elite™. It is outré, cool, hip.

The French writer Gabriel Matzneff never hid the fact that he engaged in sex with girls and boys in their early teens or even younger. He wrote countless books detailing his insatiable pursuits and appeared on television boasting about them. “Under 16 Years Old,” was the title of an early book that left no ambiguity.

Still, he never spent a day in jail for his actions or suffered any repercussion. Instead, he won acclaim again and again. Much of France’s literary and journalism elite celebrated him and his work for decades. Now 83, Mr. Matzneff was awarded a major literary prize in 2013 and, just two months ago, one of France’s most prestigious publishing houses published his latest work.

Matzneff was a favorite of the Elite™ crowd, but once a victim spoke up and wrote a book the average French citizen wasn’t so forgiving. But it took that outrage from the non-Elite to move the needle even a little bit. Matzneff is being thrown to the wolves after decades of awards and interviews, some of which explicitly referred to his sexual tastes. The French people are not nearly as fond of pedophiles as their cultural betters, so this is not some French thing about sexual freedom.

The former host of France’s most famous literary television program struggled to explain why he and other guests — except, tellingly, the only non-French invitee — laughed with good humor at Mr. Matzneff’s preferences for minors. Most of his longtime champions have remained silent, though a few still came to his defense, including the former book editor of Le Monde.

France’s culture minister, Franck Riester, said that he supported Mr. Matzneff’s victims and announced that the government would review a writer’s allowance given to him — an abrupt shift in the government’s position. In 1995, long after Mr. Matzneff had written about his past, the minister of culture at the time awarded him the Order of Arts and Letters.

French philosopher Michel Foucault–one of the most famous and revered to have come out of that country since Sartre–was also an accused pedophile. Despite the accusations from a colleague Foucault is still revered and celebrated for his writings about the liberation of sexuality from Christian norms. I had to read Foucault when studying philosophy in college.

Sorman told the Sunday Times that he witnessed Foucault throwing money at boys aged eight and inviting them to meet him for nocturnal sex at the local cemetery, where he abused them on the gravestones. The question of consent wasn’t even raised. Sorman, who gave the interview to publicise his book Mon dictionnaire du Bullshit — an indictment of irrationalist thought for which he thinks the likes of Foucault were responsible — said he regretted not telling the police, but that Foucault’s status as philosopher king made him fearful of doing so. He claimed that French newspapers were also aware of Foucault’s behaviour, but kept quiet. In this portrayal, Foucault figures as a Gallic Jimmy Savile, a predator hiding in plain sight, indulged by the Establishment. In Britain we defer to TV celebs; in France they abase themselves to intellectuals.

But the most obvious and troubling evidence that pedophilia has been widely tolerated and celebrated by our cultural Elite™ is a case in Germany, where the government put a known pedophile in charge of a program to actually link children up with pedophiles as foster parents. It is a disgusting “experiment” that went on for years. It is known as the “Kentler Experiment,” and the German government is still covering up vast amounts of data about how the Berlin government itself funneled children to pedophiles for sexual exploitation.

Starting in 1969, Berlin welfare authorities handed over the care of at least three homeless teenagers to Dr Helmut Kentler, a sex researcher from Hanover. He placed the youths with known paedophiles, including one who already had a criminal record for child abuse, believing that it would give troubled teens a social anchor while giving the paedophiles a chance to become caring foster parents….

The experiment went on for years, and was hardly a singular occurrence. Government officials and government-funded institutions have deep connections to pedophiles. In the Kentler case there is lots of convincing evidence that the children involved were used for sex by people high up in government.

Kentler, who died in 2008, left papers describing the entire experiment as a “success”, but he admitted that it was clear to all involved that placing youths with paedophiles broke the law.

While Berlin was publicly funding that paedophile programme, many children were being abused at Odenwald boarding school, near Frankfurt.

The school was one of West Germany’s most famous progressive and reformist institutions. It later emerged that a former school director, Gerold Becker, was a paedophile who, along with at least seven other staff members, had abused at least 132 pupils over the three decades between 1965 and 1998.

And the German Green Party actively promoted pedophilia and sought to decriminalize it. The Greens rose to prominence in the 70s, 80s and 90s and were a substantial political force in the country. The became even more powerful in this century, becoming a partner in a governing coalition with other Left-wing and socialist parties.

Germany’s paedophile past reared its head again in 2013 when links emerged between founding members of the Green Party and West Germany’s Paedophile Movement, which rode the coat-tails of gay-rights groups and lobbied for the decriminalisation of consensual sex between adults and children.

In 1975 a Green Party leading light, Daniel Cohn-Bendit, who was a kindergarten teacher at the time, wrote a book praising “erotic games” between adults and young children. In 1981 Jürgen Trittin, today a senior Green MP and then a young party official in Göttingen, signed off on a party pamphlet seeking the decriminalisation of paedophilia.

In light of this history–and there are far more examples of this than I could possibly recount, it is hardly shocking to find that in more recent years pedophiles and ephebophiles riddle our own Elite™. The Jeffrey Epstein scandal and the metastasizing Balenciaga scandal are the tip of a very large iceberg. Expect more revelations to come about pedophilia in the fashion world, and more coverups from the MSM. Most Americans will discount these accounts as isolated incidents, but the evidence is pretty clear that they are not at all. Nor are the defenders of the politicians, actors, producers, and others in our Elites™ ignorant of what is going on. They know.

Ghislaine Maxwell sits in jail for human trafficking, but none of her and Epstein’s clients have even been named. But we certainly know that lots of politicians and billionaires flew to Epstein’s island on the Lolita Express.

My colleague Jazz wrote the other day about a troubling story from the Daily Mail, demonstrating that pedophilia is largely tolerated in Blue states like California. One of the main beneficiaries of criminal justice “reform” is the pedophile class, who are getting off lightly.

The Daily Mail recently completed an analysis of prison records located in California’s Megan’s Law database, analyzing how long prisoners convicted of sex crimes against children spend behind bars. Clearly, someone should have undertaken a study like this long before now because the results are indeed shocking. Reporters looked at the files of thousands of pedophiles who committed multiple sex crimes against juveniles and found that the majority of them are released less than one year after initially being locked up. Some of the worst offenders actually wound up spending only a few weeks or even a few days behind bars before being put back out on the streets. The data is too overwhelming for this to simply be some sort of oversight in the process. This pattern is systemic.

Analysis of a California database of sex offenders shows thousands of child molesters are being let out after just a few months, despite sentencing guidelines.

Current and former sex crime prosecutors said the figures are ‘terrifying’ and ‘shameful’.

So just how systemic is this atrocity? The records in the database show that the number of people convicted of ‘lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age’ who were released in less than a year was greater than 7,000. Hundreds more who were convicted of “continuous sexual abuse of a child” similarly served less than a year.

This doesn’t happen by accident. I firmly believe that if the plebs like you and me didn’t vehemently object there would be no penalties at all. Hollywood is widely believed to be filled with pedophiles and sexual abusers, with major actors who were child stars stating it outright. It isn’t just the adults who get the casting couch; it is the children as well.

There is simply no way that there is widespread ignorance of this fact among our cultural Elite™. They know. They have been told by their own colleagues and heroes. It’s just that it is tolerated and even celebrated. If you are a member of the Elite™ you can do no wrong. You can even get a standing ovation.

The evidence is overwhelming, and goes far beyond the scope of this essay. The coverup–and that is what it is–has been largely successful. Those of us who point to it and scream to the heavens are portrayed as the crazy ones, because our MSM is on the side of evil.

The normal rules just don’t apply if you go to the right schools, attend the right parties, and mouth the same pieties. As all this goes on we are told that the scummiest people in the world are our betters.

Don’t believe it. And don’t buckle under the weight of the accusations of being a “conspiracy theorist.”
