In more terrible news tonight, ABC reports a lone gunman has attacked a theater in Lafayette, Louisiana resulting in multiple injured and at least two dead, according to police.

The shooting took place at the Grand Theater on Johnston Street at a 7:30 PM screening of the movie Trainwreck.  The gunman apparently turned the weapon on himself afterwards.  No word on the motive or why he chose that particular theater or movie, but as usual the fog of war on these kinds of stories means we won’t know anything concrete for quite some time.

Louisiana Gov. and Presidential candidate Bobby Jindal said he’s heading to Lafayette and asked people to pray for the victims and their families.
