Sunday morning talking heads

All three — yes, three — party nominees are set for the Sunday shows this morning as the primaries wind down. Hillary will be on “This Week” and “State of the Union” to beg Democrats in California not to send her off with a humiliating loss to Bernie Sanders en route to being nominated. Trump will be on “Face the Nation” and “State of the Union” to undoubtedly triple down on his attacks on the “Mexican” judge in his Trump University suit for strategic reasons known only to him. (The “State of the Union” interview with Tapper is actually just an extended version of his comments about Judge Curiel and other subjects from Friday.) And Gary Johnson will appear on “Meet the Press” to introduce himself to the country’s none-of-the-above voters on both sides by reminding them that “Libertarians agree with socialism as long as it’s voluntary,” a philosophy guaranteed to please no one. Except libertarians, I guess.

Elsewhere, Newt Gingrich will be on “Fox News Sunday” to discuss his plans for the government as likely prime minister during the reign of King Donald I. The full line-up is at the AP.
